It was established in response to the dire circumstances affecting women and children. AWACD was registered on 24/02/2020 by Relief and Rehabilitation Commission.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Charter for Change signatories and endersors of South Sudan for electing Agency for Women and Children Development (AWACD) as C4C National Co-chair.
This journey has been a testament to strength C4C , and we are deeply humbled by the trust you placed in us.

Throughout this campaign, we have had the privilege to meet so many inspiring individuals who share a vision for a brighter, more inclusive C4C future. Your encouragement and belief in our message kept us energized and determined every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. We made our voices heard, we stood up for the values we believe in, and we inspired meaningful conversations.

Thank you for believing in our cause and for being part of this movement. We look forward to staying involved and finding new ways with team to serve and strengthen C4C Advocacy Working Group in national, states and Administrative Areas. Together, we will continue to work for a better tomorrow and deliver quality humanitarian interventions to the affected communities.

Child Rights Coalition organized two-day workshop in Juba for the member organizations on Financial Bill Analysis. Agency for Women and Children Development (AWACD) as member organization participated and added its critical input to ongoing discussions aim at improving the nutritional status for children and women in the country.
Thanks to South Sudan Government for creating such a space to amplify the local voices.....!!!!

Torrential rain hard-hit Mayendit county in Southern Unity state. Report indicates that more households were affected. Agency for Women and Children Development field staff said locations severely affected included Rubkuay, Tutnyang, Tharjiathbor, Mirnyal, Thaker and Dablual Payams. The report also placed more emphasis on Rubkuay market, the only local market where residents purchase the food stuffs was also submerged.

The civil society organizations play a crucial role in advocating for child protection and preventing the recruitment and use of children in armed conflict. Agency for Women and Children Development (AWACD) participted in the training that strengthened the capacity of the participating partners.
