South Sudan Law Society with funding from UNDP South Sudan facilitates community dialogue in Aweil to debrief the community members including survivors of conflict, women and youth on the passed Bills for the CTRH and CRA and solicit their recommendations to inform modalities of the CTRH and CRA engagement with community members and survivors of the conflict.

South Sudan Law Society with funding from UNDP South Sudan trained Victims Support Groups (VSGs) in Aweil. The training empowered the VSGs with knowledge on Transitional Justice and enabled them to understand their rights and roles and prepare them for meaningful participation in the Truth Reconciliation and Healing process as well as the Compensation and Reparation process.

Residents of the Mauna area in Juba, South Sudan, have said that a significant number of gender-based violence cases go unreported due to cultural stigma and concerns about confidentiality.
