I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported, guided, and encouraged me throughout my academic journey. This achievement would not have been possible without the collective contribution of many wonderful individuals and groups.

First and foremost, I extend my deepest appreciation to my beloved family,
Especially my lovely wife and my kids, My bloody brother Denis Garang Arop Mathan, my beloved parents and siblings, all my relatives, and friends. Your unwavering love, prayers, encouragement, and moral support have been the foundation of my success. You stood by me through every challenge and celebrated every milestone, and for that, I am forever grateful.

I also wish to sincerely thank the PASS Organization for their continuous support and contribution towards my academic growth. Your efforts have made a meaningful difference in my life journey. I appreciate the most supportive management of PASS ORGANIZATION, without your solid foundation and foundamental plans that brings funding that support our educational journey, I would have not celebrated this very special day of my education life. My senior and elder thanks so much, for your unwavering support both physicality, and psychologically. I must say a very thanks to you nissep.

My special appreciation goes to the Head of the Public Health Department Dr. Stephenson and the Department Coordinator prof. Eric and my Research supervisor Prof. Anguyo Amos for their guidance, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Your mentorship has greatly shaped my academic and professional development.

I am equally thankful to my colleagues, whose cooperation, teamwork, and shared experiences made this journey both meaningful and enjoyable. Together, we have learned, grown, and supported one another.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the school administration for providing a conducive learning environment and the necessary resources that enabled me to pursue my studies successfully.

Above all, I give all the glory and honor to the Almighty God for His grace, strength, wisdom, and protection throughout this journey. Without His blessings, none of this would have been possible.
To everyone who contributed in one way or another, I say thank you. Your support had been a driving force to my success and will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.

In Africa's longest civil war region, large areas of the tropical rainforest are being degraded by uncontrolled deforestation of precious wood. Deforestation (currently about ¼ of premier forest area in South Sudan) is causing degradation of the habitats of the local smallholder population through a dramatic decrease in soil fertility, an increase in devastating forest fires, the drying up of permanent river courses and the dramatic decrease in very rare plants - and animal species.

The increasing population pressure and the traditional shifting cultivation (shifting cultivation) increase the pressure on the natural resources of the region, which is considered the breadbasket of the country (The "Green Belt" of South Sudan).

The degradation described above has increased the negative effects of the ongoing climate changes, which has caused changed rainfall patterns. Farmers are now forced to adapt their traditional cultivation plans in order to mitigate climate change challenges.
CCZ is committed to combating this climate change through promotion of small scales and agroforestry projects.

On World Children's Day 2024, we witnessed an inspiring celebration under the theme “Listen to the Future.” This beautiful event, organized by UNICEF in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare and various Child Protection partners, showcased the remarkable talents of children and youth from our community.

Nestled in the vibrant Nimra Talata Basketball Stadium, audiences were treated to a series of incredible performances that highlighted the creative skills and voices of our young people. Watching these talented children shine brightly on stage, it’s evident that they embody the hope and promise of a brighter future

Our heartfelt thank you to the entire team that made this a success,Your dedication and enthusiasm remind us that the youth of South Sudan truly are the future of our world! Happy World Children's Day to each and every one of you! Let’s continue to uplift and listen to the voices of our children!

CHILD COMFORT ZONE
Introduction/Background
Child Comfort Zone is a national NGO, founded in 2018 and registered with (RRC) under Chapter 3, Section 10 of NGO Act 2016 and registration No. 1522.
CCZ board composition is comprise of Nine (9) board members segregated by gender (3 F & 6 M) respectively.
2.0 Child Comfort Zone (CCZ)
CHILD COMFORT ZONE is deeply committed to mitigate the impacts and effects of increasing poverty among the children of South Sudan who are victims persisting tribal clashes/conflicts, domestic violence, gender based violence (GBV), environmental and climatic changes, building capacities of vulnerable and poor communities within South Sudan, including ordinary men and women to be able to eradicate poverty at all levels, address human rights related abuses and revive positive cultural/traditional norms or values in society.

2.1 Vision Statement
To be working tirelessly towards changing and improving the life of children through provision of equitable opportunities.

2.2 Mission Statement
To empower children since they are the future for any progressing society, to be self-reliance and capable of changing their future wellbeing.
