We work in more than 10 counties around the nation drawn from 4 states . And we help every - one who is poor and disadvantaged, whatever their ethnic origin, age, or religious beliefs. Our humanitarian support work is funded by national and international grants /donations , and from internal resou rces. We are diligent and trans parent in our use of the money which is entrusted to us. We play an active part in grassroots, national, regional and internation al networks; b ecause , we can only reach our goals by sharing experience and cooperating with other organiza tions. Organization’s Core Values :
These eight important values are the building blocks that constitute ALO ’s humanitarian s upport and services value system. They ensure that our staff ,
partners, volunteers, suppliers/vendors, and anyone
who comes into contact with ALO adheres to the principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality
and independence , which are fundamental to humanitarian action . Loving Our Neighbors
We see people suffering in so many parts of our newly-born nation, and this moves us deeply, so that we have a heartfelt desire to help and support those who lack the basic necessities of life. Human Dignity
We believe that everyone is a child of God, born with the same rights as everyone else. We work to support those whose rights are abused and whose dignity is disregarded. Grassroots, National, Regional and Global Partnerships
Throughout our humanitarian interventions we seek to work together on equal terms with kindred organizations which are associated with our vision and mission. How We Work
We help people to help
themselves: ALO applies the SDGs to transform people to help themselves. In more than 15 projects in South Sudan, we have enabled poor and disadvantaged people to liberate themselves from their predicament. This involves working together closely with kindred partner grassroots, national and international organizations. What We Do
We Ensure Food Security
People suffer from hunger and mal nutrition in many parts of the world. We help small farmers produce enough healthy food on a long-term basis
We Combat Poverty
One third of the nation's population is poor, so they have little chance of a life with dignity. We help disadvantaged people increase their income
We Promote Education
Thousands of women around South Sudan are unable to read or write. We make it possible for
children, especially girls to go to and remain at school. And we conduct vocational skills training for young people and women
We Improve Public Health Care
Life-threatening diseases such as malaria and cholera are still widespread. We run public health education programs and help to improve the provision of public health services
We Send Out Volunteers and Professional Workers
Our partner organizations have their own well-trained staff. But where there happens to be a lack of specialist knowledge, ALO provides experienced South Sudan -based professionals. We also send out enthusiastic young adults who serve as volunteers, supporting the work of our partners. We Defend Women Human Rights
Human rights are trampled under- foot just about everywhere. We defend women and girls who are the victims of violence or injustice. Besides, promoting women’s leadership and political participation. We Care for the Integrity of Creation
Climate change and environmental destruction affect us all ‒ but vulnerable and marginalized women are always hit the hardest. We tackle the root causes and try to mitigate the consequences. We Support Women and Girls
Women suffer most from hunger, poverty, violence, and discrimination. We provide support and empowerment and campaign for equal rights. We provide s*x education and help to improve the provision of maternal health services. ALO Thematic Areas:

Our Approach:
A Women’s and Girls’ Rights Upfront (WGRU) which seeks to elevate women’s and girls’ well-being higher up on the international peace and security agenda both in terms of making it a priority for all actors, and by ensuring women and girls participate in peace processes that impact their future. By prioritizing the needs of women and girls, we can also begin to address the underlying factors that contribute to the vulnerability of women and girls to violence, lack of access to education, employment opportunities, healthcare, reliable supplies of food and water, shelter, and/or have experienced displacement from their families. Happy Labor Day to all humanitarian partners, frontline workers, volunteers, and every hand committed to saving lives.

Today, AID LINK ORGANIZATION proudly honors the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and resilience of our humanitarian workers especially our Northern Jonglei staff who, despite extreme insecurity and active conflict in Akobo County, traveled on foot from Uror, Nyirol, and Walgak to Akobo East, continuing onward toward the Ethiopia side in search of safety while still standing firm in service to humanity.

These are not just workers they are heroes of hope.

In the face of danger, displacement, fear, and uncertainty, they chose compassion over comfort, service over silence, and humanity over fear.

Their dedication reminds us that true humanitarian work is not done in comfort zones, but in the hardest and most dangerous places where lives depend on courage.

From education and health, to food security, WASH, protection, and emergency response, your work restores dignity, protects lives, and gives hope to the most vulnerable communities.

As we mark this Labor Day, we raise one clear and powerful message to the world
🎯 AID WORKERS ARE NOT THE TARGET.

Humanitarian workers are not combatants. They are not enemies. They are lifelines for communities in crisis.

They must be protected. They must be respected. They must be supported.
Violence against aid workers is violence against humanity itself.

At AID LINK ORGANIZATION, we stand in solidarity with all humanitarian partners and frontline responders who risk everything to serve others.

Your sacrifice will never be forgotten, and your service will always be honored.

Happy Labor Day!
Saving Lives. Restoring Hope. Building Resilience.

BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN KOJI KEJI COUNTY

🗓️ 30th – 31st March 2026
Education cannot wait not in times of stability, and certainly not in times of crisis.

Aid Link Organization, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), successfully carried out a powerful Back to School Campaign in Koji Keji County, reaching vulnerable children and communities with a renewed message of hope, dignity, and opportunity.

This intervention, delivered through Education and ICLA (Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance) activities and generously funded by the people of Norway, is more than a campaign it is a lifeline.

Across Koji Keji, children who once faced uncertainty, displacement, and disrupted learning are now stepping back into classrooms. Parents and communities have been mobilized, awareness has been raised, and the importance of education as a protective tool has been reinforced.

What this campaign means A second chance for children who had dropped out of school
• Protection through knowledge, guidance, and legal awareness
• Strengthened community commitment to education
• A step forward in restoring hope and resilience
We believe that every child deserves access to safe, quality education regardless of their circumstances.

To our partners at NRC, and to the people of Norway: your support is not just funding programs; it is rebuilding futures, restoring dignity, and saving lives.

To the global community
Stand with us. Invest in education. Protect a generation.

Because when a child returns to school, a community begins to heal.

On this International Women’s Day, AID LINK South Sudan proudly joins the global community in celebrating the strength, resilience, leadership, and achievements of women everywhere.

Today is not only a day of celebration but also a moment of reflection and renewed commitment to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, especially in communities affected by crisis and hardship.

As a women-led humanitarian organization, AID LINK ORGANIZATION recognizes the powerful role women play in shaping families, communities, and nations.

Women are often the first responders within their households and communities during times of conflict, displacement, hunger, and disaster. They carry the responsibility of protecting their families, ensuring the survival of their children, and rebuilding hope in the face of adversity.

Across South Sudan and beyond, we have witnessed extraordinary courage from women who continue to lead change despite immense challenges. From mothers who ensure their children continue learning during emergencies, to women leaders advocating for peace, to young girls striving to break barriers through education their determination and leadership remain a driving force for a more just and resilient society.

At AID LINK ORGANIZATION, we firmly believe that empowering women is not only a moral responsibility but also a critical pathway to sustainable development and lasting peace. When women are empowered, entire communities benefit.
Families become stronger, children are healthier and better educated, and societies move closer to stability and prosperity.

Through our programs in Education in Emergencies, Food Security and Livelihoods, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Health and Nutrition, Protection, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention, we remain committed to ensuring that women and girls are protected, supported, and given the opportunity to lead and thrive.

We continue to advocate for:
Equal opportunities for women and girls
Protection from all forms of violence and discrimination

Access to quality education and healthcare
Women’s participation in leadership and decision-making
Economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods for women

Today, we celebrate the incredible women who serve on the front lines of humanitarian action, the women who hold families together during difficult times, and the young girls who represent the future of stronger and more equitable societies.

AID LINK ORGANIZATION reaffirms its commitment to standing with women and girls, amplifying their voices, protecting their rights, and supporting their leadership in building resilient communities.

Together, let us continue to break barriers, challenge inequalities, and create a future where every woman and girl can live with dignity, safety, and opportunity.
Saving Lives. Restoring Hope. Building Resilience.

In Northern Jonglei State, South Sudan, humanitarian access remains extremely difficult, limiting the delivery of life-saving support to communities in urgent need.
Over 28,000 households are waiting for critical assistance including food, safe water, emergency health services, and protection support.
AID LINK Organization is ready to respond.
Supplies can be mobilized. Teams can deploy.
But access constraints continue to slow down and block timely delivery.
This is not a statistic.
This is hunger, illness, displacement, and fear happening every day.
The people of Northern Jonglei cannot afford delays.
Every day without access increases suffering and loss of life.
We call on humanitarian partners, donors, and supporters worldwide to urgently strengthen access solutions and scale up life-saving assistance.

NORTHERN JONGLEI CRISIS

It is with deep sadness and serious concern that we confirm the looting and destruction of AID LINK ORGANIZATION’s field office in Walgak, Akobo West, during the ongoing insecurity in the area.

AID LINK ORGANIZATION constructed this base office in Walgak to strengthen and support our emergency response operations across Northern Jonglei, particularly in Uror and Nyirol counties, where humanitarian needs remain critical and life-threatening.

Learning that this facility has been looted and destroyed is not only painful, it is a major setback to humanitarian work in the region. Field offices are not simple structures that can be replaced overnight.
They take time, resources, community engagement, and significant logistical effort to establish, especially in hard-to-reach areas like Northern Jonglei. When humanitarian infrastructure is attacked, the real cost is paid by vulnerable families who depend on timely assistance.

Most concerning of all, our staff were forced to flee for safety and have moved for approximately 36 hours on foot in search of a secure location. This is unacceptable. No humanitarian worker should ever be placed in such danger for simply doing their job.

We strongly reaffirm that
Humanitarian workers are not a target. 🎯
Humanitarian offices are not a battlefield.
Humanitarian assets are not spoils of war.

We call on all actors and all communities to respect humanitarian space, protect aid workers, and safeguard humanitarian facilities and supplies. The safety of humanitarian personnel and the protection of humanitarian assets must be guaranteed at all times.

AID LINK ORGANIZATION remains committed to supporting affected communities across Northern Jonglei, but we also emphasize that humanitarian response cannot continue where aid workers are threatened, attacked, or forced to run for their lives.

We stand with our staff and all humanitarian workers who continue to serve under extreme risk.

We call for urgent measures to ensure their safety and dignity.
Enough is enough.

31/01/2026

In the midst of conflict, fear, and deep uncertainty in Northern Jonglei State, AID LINK Organization remains present and operational. When communities are pushed to the margins by violence and displacement, we do not step back. We step forward.
Our teams on the ground continue to move from location to location, navigating insecurity and difficult conditions to ensure life-saving humanitarian assistance reaches the most vulnerable families. For communities affected by conflict, access to food, protection, and essential services is not a choice. It is a lifeline.
This work is demanding and often carried out under immense pressure, but it is necessary. It is driven by our commitment to humanity, dignity, and the principle that no one should be left behind because of where they live or the crisis they face.
We extend our deepest appreciation to our frontline workers across the three locations in Northern Jonglei. Your courage, resilience, and compassion are the reason hope continues to reach those who need it most.
Standing with communities in times of crisis is not a statement. It is our responsibility.
