🚨 URGENT INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC

We regret to inform the public that our Chairperson was attacked by robbers last night at 11:00 PM after the close of our Inauguration and welcoming ceremony of Amiol Gemdit program.

The incident happened on the road from Twic Community Center to Upper Nile University, Munuki.

Unfortunately, 6 armed men carrying pistols attacked them. They shot our Chairperson in the leg, took phones from Monica Alek and Ater Majok Pap, including bags and some of the materials they were carrying, and when they approached Mayar, they shot him immediately and ran away.

Our Chairperson is currently receiving treatment. We are following up with the relevant authorities and we call upon the police in Munuki to increase security in the area.

We ask everyone to keep our Chairperson and all those affected in your prayers.

Dear Amiol-Gemdit Youth,

Ref: Message of Appreciation:

Allow me at this juncture to take this opportunity to give the words of appreciation and thanks to my beloved youth of Amiol-Gemdit in Juba, back home and wherever they are around the globe, for allowing me this time to serve them as chairperson of Amiol-Gemdit Youth Association for Development in Juba.

I'm really thrilled and overwhelmed with happiness, but it's not just a happiness of being given a chance. It's a happiness of being given trust to serve our community Amiol-Gemdit with dedication, hard work, commitment, and competency to achieve our goals.
As youth, we want to promote love and peace among ourselves.
My motto is: "Together We Rise," so I'm advocating for peace, love, and unity because if we love ourselves, we shall remain united and stronger than any other community around the world.

Given the opportunity to win the Amiol's Youth election as an unopposed winner, it doesn't mean that there were no other candidates who were interested in serving Amiol-Gemdit in this position, but I term it as the trust, confidence and respect bestowed up me by my fellow youth of Amiol-Gemdit to let me contribute my energy to our community.

Nevertheless, I'm urging my fellow youth of Amiol-Gemdit, our elders, and all the intellectuals in Juba, back home, and diaspora to join their hands with me and work together for the betterment of our community Amiol.

This community was served by our grandfathers (Malual-aguir), our fathers (Manyiel-Madut Chol), our uncles (Manoon-Malek Tor), and this time is us (Malek Lualdit).
Therefore, we are servants to this great community, Amiol. So let's do ours now till our children back us up and thank you all.

Amuol Gemdit’s Students’ Association Informs its Newly Admitted Students to Report to their Secretary for Academic Affairs in Juba

The Amuol-Gemdit at various Universities and Higher learning Institutions (AGSAUHI) has formally informed its newly admitted students to report themselves to Ring Noi Yak the Secretary for Academic affairs AGSAUHI and register with him for the forthcoming welcoming ceremony that's going to be conducted this month.

AGSAUHI encourages you to show up within three days. Your quick response will allow them to do the ceremony as soon as possible.
