Congratulatory message to Hon. William Anyuon Kuol on his appointment as the Commissioner General of the South Sudan Revenue Authority.

On behalf of the Majakbai Youth body in Juba and on my own behalf, we joyfully celebrate the appointment of one of our distinguished sons and a leader, Hon. William Anyuon Kuol, by our able President, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit as Commissioner of the South Sudan General Revenue Authority.

This appointment is a great honor to the people of Majakbai, Aweil North County, Aweil, and ROSS as a whole.

Our deep and honorable appreciation goes to President Salva Kiir for his wisdom and inclusive leadership extended to the Majakbai people and the trust he bestowed on Hon. William Anyuon for reappointing him base on his vast and excellent experience.

NEWS UPDATES: The governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State H.E. Simon Ober Mawutdit issued a gubernatorial order for the formation of the Disaster Risk Management Technical committee in NBeGs.

The composition of the technical committee is here as follows:

Term of references (TORs)
(1) Carry out immediate needs assessments to know the level of damages caused by flood on lives and livelihoods of the people

(2) prepared and present to DRMC plans on how to respond to disaster risk issues

(3) Coordinate humanitarian assistance to flood affected communities and persons

(4) Prepare a long term disaster risk mitigation machanism

(5) Design evacuation plans

(6) coordinate with counties disaster risk management committees

(7) conduct weekly risk assessment meetings

(8) Sensitize communities about flood risk especially those livingin! low land

(9) Draft and preset operation budget for ARMC and technical committee

(10) perform any other tasks deemed appropriate

SPLM State Youth League Chairperson William Kur attends the final match of the tournament in Aweil North County

Mayom Angok, Wednesday ( April 17, 2024 ) - William Kur Makur Deng, the SPLM State Youth League Chairperson who also doubles as a Director General of the State Revenue Authority in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State, attended the final match of the tournament at Mayom Angok Payam on Tuesday.

Organized in Aweil North County, the tournament kicked off on 23 January 2024 and ended on 16 April 2024 between Makuach Lach FC and Paaukou FC which later lost the match, making Makuach Lach FC the winner.

As the SPLM Youth League chairperson obligated to foster and promote youth activities, Cde. William Kur Makur appreciated the committee that organized the Payam Inter-Boma Tournament in Mayom Angok, stressing that sports promote unity and peace in the community.

He further congratulated the Crowned Champion of the tournament Makuach Lach FC, wishing Paaukou FC good luck in the next race.

While extending greetings from the SPLM State Secretariat leadership to the people of Aweil North County, Cde. William Kur disclosed the unity among SPLM members to vote for the sole presidential candidate, H.E. Gen. Cde. Salva Kiir Mayardit in the five counties and two municipal councils.

He finally warned the audience against tricksters who are against the progress and development being done by the SPLM for the nation.

This event was graced by the presence of Cde. Luka Lual Tong, Cde. James Aguer Alich, Cde. Martin Ahel Garang, artists, Youths, Women, Chiefs, Local Dignitaries, and among others.

To: The family of the late Ngor Athuai Mayuol

On behalf of the Majakbai Youth Association in Juba (MBYA) and my behalf, I would like to convey our deeply heartfelt consoling message to the immediate bereaved family of our brother late Ngor Athuai Mayuol alias Ngor Amin.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family as Majak-bai and the entire Aweil community.

The late, held from Lolkou-Majakbai, Aweil North, lost his precious life to unknown gunmen who shot him with four bullets at his residential home at 11:00 pm in Juba, Gudele Block 5 on March 21, 2024.

Late Ngor is such a sociable, hard-working, and caring person whose munificent work will not be unmatched as always stands with his family and Majakbai Community.

With deep dismay, we strongly condemn such an evil act by killing an innocent and young energetic person.
May Almighty God rest his precious soul in Eternal heaven.

Hope this message finds you well during the festive season celebration.

We would like to inform you dear public particularly Majak-bai community, greater Ayat, and well-wishers that a body headed by the chairperson of MBYA, Mr. Yel Luach Jiel has initiated the treatment process for our brother Simon Akuei Dut Akuei who has been sick since last year and the sickness has deteriorated this week.

This morning, we took him to Al Baraka Specialized Medical Complex (MBC) for a general medical check. The tests requested were Liver profile, Renal function Test, CBC, urine analysis, and B.Glucose test.
However, the outcome advised by the doctor was anemia, and potassium deficiency which causes swelling, abnormal heart rhythm, and jaundice due to suspected liver disease and muscle weakness.

Due to low blood approximately 2 liters of blood, it's advised for blood transfusion. Therefore, we are now in Juba Teaching Hospital for a blood transfusion and we are requesting Majakbai's sons to come here willingly to donate blood for his immediate life-save.

Nb: The doctor advised to do further checks such as Abdominal, and pelvic ultrasound scans.

After deliberations, a committee is formed to follow up on the treatment for him, and as follows:
1. Mr.Yel Luac will chair the committee
2. Mr. Diing Martin, acting Finance secretary
3. Mr. Deng M. Manyuon, information secretary
4. Mr. William Dau Deng, an intellectual; member

Nevertheless, we are kindly requesting your financial assistance to cater for medical treatment and further management.
