I love being a medical student and I will graduate soon with a goal to be a Medical Doctor.

As per little knowledge I have accumulated so far at the University of Juba, i have acknowledged the emergency of complications or confusions in Malaria treatment posting Malaria recrudescence or resistance across the country. Multiple clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals are sometimes trapped in this chapter if their Clinical officers, Medical Doctors, and Nurses lack notable experience in some detail diagnostics and prescriptions.

Malaria is one of the leading causes of death in Africa and can kills in 24 hours(Severe Malaria) if not managed well.

I'm very happy about this acquired knowledge particularly and willing to serve my people who are currently experiencing Malaria rebounding/recrudescence or Resistance. It's simple to prescribe antimalarial drugs but hard to recognise why some patients develop fever + fatigue 3—7 days or 7—14 days after or within the treatment period. This is where complications or confusion is accepted and need referral if it's not possible at that specific healthcare facility.

NB; If you have the above situation please, inbox me for more guidance and possible prescription in accordance to our WHO— South Sudan Guidelines for treatment.

On 12th/08/2026, The YEHS board of trustees was established as part of constitutional implementation workplans.

The BOT is comprised of 5 members holding different positions with defined roles and Responsibilities. It's the first Board of Trustees in the history of the society following the General Assembly ammendment of the constitution done on 23 May 2026, Naivasha Hall, South Sudan Hotel.
