Yesterday, our club in collaboration with WBGS Youth Union under the leadership of Andlino Gabriel Madut, Comfort Primary & High School, SPLM Youth League, Prisoners, South Sudan Red Cross and other youth groups launched a massive cleaning campaign at Wau Teaching Hospital.

Hundreds of young volunteers turned up to clean wards, collect garbage, clear drainage systems, and slash bushes around the hospital compound.

We were honored by the presence of Hon. Minister of Health Nixon Paulino, Dr. Christopher Paul, Mama Mary Tulba, Dr. Bulis, Mr. John Khamis* and Rienga Piyom.

The hospital administration welcomed the initiative and thanked the youth for this patriotic act.

As a youth flagship spearheading this movement, we are committed to continue similar activities in schools, markets, and other public places across Wau.

On December 17, 2025, members of our club from the University of Bahr El Ghazal and high schools joined the celebration of International Human Rights Day at the State Ministry of Education's hall in Wau. The event, facilitated by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), was themed "Human Rights, Our Everyday Essential."

The United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1948, and we commemorate it annually to remind ourselves that human rights are for everyone, everywhere 🌎.

The event was honored by the presence of the Hon. Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, the Director General of the State Ministry of Education, representatives from the Special Protection Unit, Human Rights Commission, Youth Union, students, and people with special needs.

We recognize that children, mothers, and people with disabilities are often the most vulnerable to human rights abuses. Everyone deserves the right to health, education, security, self-expression, and movement - as long as it doesn't infringe on others' rights.

A big thank you to UNDP and UNMISS for their support and to everyone who made this event a success! 🙏

𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 13 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 2025 - we rolled up our sleeves and joined forces with the Western Bahr Ghazal State Youth Union, Hai Masana youth, and other young changemakers to clean the Youth Union Headquarter office in Wau! 🧹💪

This cleaning initiative is more than just tidying up - it's about taking ownership, building camaraderie, and showing love for our community! ❤️ We're proud to have been part of it, and huge thanks to the Youth Union for inviting us!

Big shoutout to our SSHC club members who showed up and made it happen! 🙌 Your energy and commitment are what make our community stronger! 💪
