Subject: Solidarity Message
The Office of Aguok Kuei Youth Association extends its heartfelt sympathy and solidarity to the traders, families, and the entire community of Gogrial West County, particularly those in Gogrial Market, following the tragic fire outbreak that occurred on Sunday, 15th March 2026.
We are deeply saddened by the devastating loss caused by the fire, which reduced many shops to ashes and destroyed valuable goods, including sorghum, groundnuts, money, and other merchandise that families depend on for their daily livelihoods. Such a tragedy not only affects individual traders but also impacts on the entire community, whose economic life depends on the market.
On behalf of Aguok Kuei Youth Association, we stand firmly with the affected traders and their families during this painful and challenging moment. We recognize the hard work and dedication that each trader invests in building their businesses, and we understand the burden that comes with losing everything in such an unexpected disaster.
We encourage the community to remain united, strong, and supportive of one another as recovery efforts begin. Difficult times like these require solidarity, compassion, and collective action from all members of society.
We also respectfully call upon government authorities, humanitarian partners, and well-wishers to extend urgent assistance to the victims of this fire.
The Aguok Kuei Youth Association reaffirms its commitment to standing with the people of Gogrial Market and supporting initiatives that promote recovery, resilience, and community development.
