Building bridges for a greener South Sudan 🌱

Today we welcomed a special guest to the FoWE office — Rev. Penina Samuel Soue, Executive Director of Hope of Africa Organization (HOA).
it was a day of hope and collaboration.

Rev. Penina even pledged office material support for our team. Thank you!

Next stop: UNICEF meeting tomorrow at 9 AM to push for more opportunities for national NGOs.

*Mundri Emergency: 135 Families Need $13,500 Before Rains | FoWE Appeal*

FoWE teams in Mundri, Western Equatoria have identified 135 newly displaced families with urgent needs before the June rains cut access.

As an RRC-registered South Sudan national NGO, FoWE is ready to deliver:
🏠 Emergency shelter
🌾 1-month food rations
💧 Water & dignity kits
🌱 Seeds for early recovery

*Total need: $13,500. Deadline: May 30, 2026.*
*$100 supports 1 family completely.*

We’re calling on coordination partners:
1. *Donors*: Rapid $13.5k grants to local actor FoWE
2. *INGOs*: Sub-grant opportunities or in-kind pipeline
3. *Clusters*: Can FoWE support Shelter/NFI + FSL + WASH cluster gaps in Mundri?
