Last week, we were blessed to have three days of teaching on Zoom with our brother David Joshua. His teaching was encouraging, inspiring, and enriching for our staff team. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and be equipped together in ministry. Thank God for this valuable time of fellowship and learning.

YWAM Juba Ministry Update: The Harvest Has Begun 🌱🔥

Today we witnessed something beautiful in our community that reminded us that ministry is not only inside church walls — ministry happens wherever Jesus leads us.

God has blessed YWAM Juba with a piece of land for agriculture, and as we went to dig and prepare the ground for planting vegetables, something unexpected happened. Members of the community gathered around us. What began as digging the soil became an opportunity to sow seeds into hearts.

We shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them right there in the field, and together we prayed. As we spoke about God’s love and His salvation, people listened with open hearts. Some shared their struggles and needs, and we could see that God was touching lives.

This became a testimony for us: when we obey God, He creates opportunities beyond what we imagine. We thought we were going to cultivate land, but God was already preparing a harvest of souls.

People often say in Juba, “People don’t dig.” But God spoke something different to us: “Dig and plant.” So we choose obedience — not only planting vegetables for the base, but planting hope, faith, and the Gospel into the community around us.

This land is more than a garden. It is becoming a place of provision, prayer, and transformation.

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” – Matthew 9:37

Please continue to pray with us as we dig, plant, and preach the Good News. The field is ready, and God is moving.

There are moments in ministry when God allows us to see beyond what ou eyes expected.

As Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Juba, during our school evangelism outreach, we visited both primary schools and secondary schools with a passion to share the Gospel, pray with students, encourage young people, and bring hope through the love of Christ. But during our time in the schools, God opened our hearts to something deeper.

Behind the smiles of many students, we discovered a painful reality. We met teachers who have continued serving faithfully and sacrificing for the future of children despite going for years without receiving salaries. We also saw schools struggling without basic scholastic materials that many people often take for granted — chalk, exercise books, pens, lesson planning books, and other learning resources.

Yet every morning these teachers continue to show up. Every day students continue coming to school carrying dreams and hopes for a better future. They continue believing that one day their lives can change.

This touched us deeply and challenged us with an important question: How can we preach hope and ignore the needs standing before us?

God moved our hearts to take action. We reached out and shared this burden with friends and partners, and we are deeply grateful to Thomas Limited for hearing the need and responding with generosity and compassion. Through their support, essential materials were provided and handed over to Lubiya Primary School.

To Thomas Limited, thank you for becoming part of this story. Thank you for investing in lives, education, and the future generation of South Sudan.

Today we believe there are still many schools waiting for someone to see them, many teachers waiting for encouragement, and many children and young people waiting for hope.

We invite churches, organizations, businesses, friends, and individuals to stand with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Juba. Together we can bring hope, support education, and demonstrate the love of Jesus through action.

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Global Movement Conference for teenagers and youth. As YWAM Juba, it was a great honor to partner together in this impactful gathering.

We sincerely thank Global Movement Ministry South Sudan for inviting us and for creating a platform where we could share what God is doing through our ministry in South Sudan. It was especially meaningful to see one of our staff, Abraham, share and represent the work on the ground.

The conference was a powerful moment, bringing together around 600 youth, teenagers, pastors, and leaders. It was encouraging to witness such hunger, unity, and passion for God among the young generation.

In addition, we were blessed with the opportunity to visit a school where we shared the Gospel. It was a deeply moving time as around 1,200 students responded and gave their lives to Christ. We give all the glory to God for what He is doing in this nation.

We are thankful for this partnership and look forward to continuing to work together for God’s purpose in raising and empowering the next generation.

Blessings,
YWAM Juba

We are deeply grateful for her heart and the time she shared with us. Thank you so much, Sister Mayada, for coming and being such a blessing.

We also want to warmly invite anyone who has a heart to visit and serve in South Sudan. There is so much that God is doing here, and your presence can make a real difference. You are always welcome to come and be part of what the Lord is doing with us.
