As we prepare for the 26th East African Community (EAC) MSMEs Jua Kali Trade Fair, to be held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 30 October to 8 November 2026, I respectfully appeal to the Government of South Sudan, the private sector, development partners, donors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and all stakeholders to support the participation of exhibitors representing South Sudan under the Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Organization (CMSMEO) – South Sudan Chapter.

This prestigious regional trade fair provides a unique opportunity for South Sudanese entrepreneurs to showcase their innovation, creativity, quality products, and business potential to the East African market. 🇸🇸 SOUTH SUDAN AT THE 25TH EAC JUA KALI TRADE FAIR 🇰🇪

Hon. Simon Nyang Anei, Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Trade and Industry (RSS), proudly represented the Hon. Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Atong Kuol Manyang Juuk, at the 25th EAC MSMEs Jua Kali Trade Fair held in Nairobi, Kenya from 7th–16th November 2025.

Hon. Ustaz Yel Luol Koor, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of South Sudan (RSS), officially flagged off South Sudanese exhibitors traveling to Nairobi, Kenya, to participate in the 25th EAC MSMEs Jua Kali Trade Fair.

The Official Opening of the 25th EAC MSMEs Trade Fair

The 25th East African Community (EAC) Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Trade Fair was officially opened by the President of Kenya, William Ruto, in Nairobi, Kenya. The event is being held at Uhuru Gardens from 7th to 16th November 2025.

This year’s Trade Fair is held under the theme: “25 Years of EAC Integration: Advancing Innovation and Regional Value Chains for Competitive MSMEs Towards Sustainable Development.” The theme reflects the commitment of EAC partner states to strengthen regional cooperation, promote innovation, and enhance the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises across the region.

The Trade Fair has attracted over 3,000 exhibitors from across the EAC member states, showcasing a wide range of innovations, products, and services in sectors such as agribusiness, manufacturing, and trade. The event serves as a key platform for business networking, knowledge exchange, and market expansion for MSMEs.
