INVITATION NOTICE!

Duluit Bol Deng Youth Association would like to send invitation extension from Honourable John Atak Garang Machar to all Duluit sons, daughters, dignitaries, and general public to come and honour and celebrate his appointment and swearing-in as a National Member of Revitalized Transitional Legislative Assembly.

We are delighted to have him selected to go and work for betterment and democratic progress in South Sudan. We wish him all the best on his duty.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 2 August in Thongpiny residential area at 12: 00PM

Everyone is invited to attend the event and see you all there on that day.

WE TODAY HAD A VERY BEAUTIFUL MEETING WITH HONOURABLE ATAK GARANG MACHAR AS DBDYA CHAIRED BY BAAK DENG MAWIEN.

As usual as we presented our Workplan to any leader we go to — we did and he was very delighted with everything we have shared with him. He said he is very happy with everything we showed to him and urged us to speedup the reconciliation meeting.

And also urges us to engage some leaders from the other associations to join during the reconciliation meeting.

He greatly acknowledged our new leadership and stated that you are the new body with fighting spirit and commitment and urges us to keep going.

He embraced the the idea of conducting cultural events and do trainings that would empower youths and push them to the next level.

He vows to stand with the association in time of needs when it matters though everything does not favour him.

DBYA had met with honourable Anguei Diing at his residence on 20th of July 2025.

We had a brief introduction and listed our Workplan to him in details and he massively gave a thump up.

He extensively gave special advice and a way forward us to go in a right direction as one of the elder in the community.

He pledges to stand with the association in times of needs.

We are grateful for him to have received some advices from him as our elder.

DBDYA had a great time meeting Dr. Justin Kawac Kawach, the chairperson for HIV/AIDS commission in South Sudan.

First and foremost we are giving a tone of appreciation to H.E SALVA KIIR MAYAR for the trust his bestowed upon Justin Kawach to serve in the national level on health sector as Duluit son. As DBDYA in Juba we extend back much ‘‘thank you’’ to H.E Salva Kiirdit.

The purpose of our visit was for introduction — getting to know him personally and know us as well.

Our meetup was brief and fruitful one — where we had introduction and alongside that we presented to him our Work Plan.

Besides that we wrote a framed congratulatory message as depicted in the picture below as a gift on his appointment.

Duluit Bol Deng Youth Association had a privilege today to meet with one of the prominent Duluit Bol Deng dignitary and at the same time the CEO and founder of Deng Aduol Cultural and Heritage Centre, James Kuol Garang to discuss some crucial measures.

In the meeting we had with him — we went for two technical issues. [THAT IS A WORK PLAN and also SEEKS SOME FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE from him]. We presented our Work Plan to him and he greatly appreciated it.

We were significantly motivated and intrigued by some important advices he gave us— which play a crucial role in cementing the legacy of the association to remain strong and anchored.

The forms of advices he has given were really indispensable and a cornerstone for us to go forward. He is a role model everyone should look up to.

He vows to stay in touch with DBDYA when it matters — by trying all he can to make sure the leadership thrive and reach its potential and achieve targeted goals by giving any form of support whether financial or moral support.

Subsequently, he fulfilled his promise to pay the amount of money he pledged during the handing-over of the office to the current leadership thus we are overwhelmed with gratitude. We appreciate him for that!

SUBJECT:CONDOLENCES MESSAGE:

On behalf of Duluit Bol Deng Youth Association, allow me to share this heartfelt message with you, Duluit Bol Deng Community.

It is with heavy heart and thoughts as we write this message to the immediate family of late Apin Dhel Nuoi and community of Duluit at large who mourn his passing this morning

We are deeply saddened and devastated to learn the untimely demise of your young son of Duluit Bol Deng at Juba-Teaching Hospital this morning on 9 of June 2025 due to TB after he was hospitalized for over a week and some days.

We as DBDYA are with you in this hard time and wish all the family members to be calm — as death is part of life, though the pain it has deeply encroached in our hearts is unbearable.

The co**se will be taken home anytime soon, but the official communication regarding the transfer of a body to ancestral land is not yet confirmed.

As the word of God encourages us in Psalm 34:18, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
