As the argument of Mayendit County's logo is ongoing I would like to bring into your attention that What's happening now is not an argument, it's a direct assault on each other, it's division among our selves, it's creation of hatred, it's the warmest friction I ever seen, and also misconception.
So as youths who are arguing about the totem we're all literate, We're taught how to handle things like this, instead of finding a solution to the problem we're creating the above characters.
1 why are creating a problem to your community as if you have a second community that you may live in?
2 You being literate isn't meant to serve the community with it' or to destroy it ?
3 Your being literate is to create a problem or to solve the existing issues ?
4 Why are we not agreeing in a proposal that's proposed by us as a community ?
5 Are we a community bonded by blood or political parties ?
So our unity matter a lot as a family, if we are represented by ostrich will it erase your Jaloh or Kuei identity ?
First let's come to know the word represent means and then you will claim your identity erasation. Let's avoid echolalia because you may not know other people may means.
Let's try to understand ourselves in a right way, incorrigible person isn't pleased by his companion.
We're represented by eagle in South Sudan arm coat, does it means that we have totem identity of eagle ? No, in Unity state We're represented by petrol tower does it means that all of Unity State has oil ? no, but some parts of it because it's pertain to our land(Unity).
I brought these animals which pertain to our origin ( clans) individually because it's clear that we have no common totem as a community but we need a unity to prevail in our land.
Let's vote for one only according to the right of majority one will be declared as Mayendit county totem.
