Christmas and happy new year wishes

Dear Akobo youths and Jonglei State youths at large

Oh behalf of Akobo youths Association in Jonglei State -Bor and my own behalf, As we gather to celebrate this joyous season, I extend my warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to each and every one of you!

This time of year is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the past and look forward to the future. May this festive season bring you joy, hope, and inspiration to chase your dreams. Let us cherish our traditions and embrace the spirit of community, kindness, and love.

Condemnation statement by Akobo Youths Association (AYA) in Bor , Jonglei State

We , the Akobo Youths Association ( AYA ) in Bor , Jonglei State condemn the barbaric act by the Twic East community ( Ayual community) carried out along Bor to paktop, which leads to lost lives of Four Lou Nuer sons , The attacked was carried out at approximately 6 am .

We are all Shocked by this tragedy news , our sympathies to the family members and the Lou Nuer community at large , and we are also calling to the state government and leaders to intervene , investigate thoroughly the cause of this heinous act into order to calm this escalating violence of traders and travelers along the way

The government must take a quick response to this tragedy that happened in order for peace to reigns , restore peace and trust within our community

The Akobo Youths Association are in solidarity with family of the affected and we believe the culprits are going to be brought to book and face the laws and justice shall prevailed

We request the Governor to take a quick response and ensures justice is fully provided to the victims of this inhumane act .

"To the Lou Nuer Youths in Jonglei State,

We bring to your attention a pressing matter concerning the leadership of the Lou Nuer Youths Development (LNYD). The self-proclaimed Chairperson, Mr. Nyoat Jock Kier, has taken leadership without proper nomination or endorsement from the Akobo Youths Association, a key stakeholder in our community.

This action undermines our values of unity, fairness, and collective decision-making. We urge all Lou Nuer youths to demand transparency and accountability in leadership. Let's work together to ensure our leadership represents our collective interests and is chosen through a legitimate and inclusive process.

We call on Mr. Nyoat Jock Kier to respect the will of the people and step down if he hasn't been properly appointed. Let's prioritize the welfare and unity of our community.

Together, we can build a brighter future for the Lou Nuer youths.
