The final prayer for the late Joseph Lino Wuor Abyei was held in his ancestral hometown of Gongbial, Abyei town. Today, Saturday, March 28th, 2026, the Abyei Special Administrative Area gathered for the prayer service.

Attendees included H.E Justice Charles Abyei Jook, chief Administrator of Abyei Special Administrative Area and deputy chief Administrator H.E Bri Gen Arop Deng Kuol, government officials, the Abyei Municipality, the Paramount Chief, all Chiefs, youth, women, and Abyei Civil Society Organizations.

May his legacy remain in our hearts 💔.
