One of our goals is to create awareness among our young citizens when it comes to Nature. We want to show them the importance of trees and wildlife.
Together with the Miss Suriname candidates, we have planted trees at various schools with the students to create a bit of awareness to keep the environment healthy.

We had a blast!

In collaboration with our business partner D'Jaz ark we were able to invite 5 senior citizens homes. A total of 105 senior citizens participated in the social project: Dining with Music. To our surprise the restaurant changed into a small disco. The senior citizens wanted to shake their legs. Their wish was granted. Enjoy the images together!

Dear All, we activated our Old page under Angel Health and Home Care again.
As for years we did our social events under this name in Suriname, we decided to continue our social events under own regulations as usual. ANGEL HEALTH AND HOME CARE is a non profit organisation in Suriname.

We create events such as fairs, garage sales, family events etc to be able to contribute social events with the full income.
Please follow us and join us during these social gatherings and help us ,help those in need.

MEET the Smart and Handsome Ismael!
Ismael is born with birth defect.
Spina bifida is a birth defect that occurs when the bones in a baby's spine do not fully form during early pregnancy. This happens between 20 and 28 days of gestation, often before a woman knows she is pregnant. This results in an opening on the back that leaves a section of the spinal cord and spinal nerves exposed.

We were honored to meet him. He didnot only leave a smile on our face, but also a warm feeling in our hearts. He again taught us a lesson:
One is that every human should be thankful for our Life.
Second of all, his Smile and most of all; willpower and perseverance.
We really adore him, more cause of his strenght 😘💝
A small gesture; we provided a wheel chair, we hope it can help him during his daily performance.

Happy Independence SURINAME!
49 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

Suriname was a Dutch colony on the northern coast of South America dating from 1667. Beginning in 1951, Suriname was accorded increasing degrees of autonomy, and was finally granted independence in 1975 from the Netherlands. In 1980 the democratically elected parliamentary government was overthrown; a regime run by the military under Desi Bouterse was installed in its place. Since the reestablishment of a democratic, elected government in 1991, the United States has maintained positive and mutually beneficial relations with Suriname.

Recognition
U.S. Recognition of Suriname Independence, 1975.
On November 25, 1975, a ceremony to proclaim Suriname independence was held in the Suriname capital of Paramaribo. The U.S. Secretary of the Navy represented the United States at the ceremony. That same day, U.S. President Gerald Ford wrote a letter to Suriname President Johan Henri Eliza Ferrier in which he extended the recognition of Suriname by the United States Government and stated that he hoped for the prompt establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
