Somali Leadership and Global Affairs Academy - SOLGA and Hope Institute for Leadership Studies Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Leadership, Research, and Institutional Development in Somalia

Mogadishu, Somalia – The Somali Leadership and Global Affairs Academy (SOLGA) and the Hope Institute for Leadership Studies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a strategic partnership to promote leadership excellence, evidence-based research, policy dialogue, education, and institutional capacity development across Somalia.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Mohamed Hussein - Ahmed Zachy, Executive Director of SOLGA, and Khalid A. Egal, Chairperson of Hope Institute for Leadership Studies, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to collaborate in advancing knowledge, strengthening leadership, and supporting sustainable national development.

The partnership provides a framework for joint initiatives in executive leadership development, public policy research, professional training, institutional strengthening, knowledge exchange, and strategic dialogue. Through this collaboration, both institutions will leverage their respective expertise to support inclusive governance, enhance institutional effectiveness, and contribute to Somalia’s long-term development priorities.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives of both institutions underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing emerging leadership and governance challenges and reaffirmed their shared vision of investing in people, strengthening institutions, and promoting innovative, locally driven solutions.
