TAMM is honored to have participated in the launch of the Somali Climate Action Platform (SCAP) in Mogadishu, a milestone event bringing together key stakeholders to advance climate justice in Somalia.

The launch provided a crucial networking space between PACJA Somalia Platform members and PACJA’s allies and partners, fostering dialogue on climate justice, strategic collaboration, and collective action.

As we navigate the challenges of climate change, TAMM stands committed to working alongside SCAP and other partners to enhance coordination, strengthen governance structures, and drive impactful climate solutions for Somalia’s future.

🧏‍♀️ Celebrating the International Week of the Deaf 🧏‍♂️

We stand in solidarity with the Deaf community during International Week of the Deaf! This week is a time to recognize the rights, culture, and contributions of Deaf people worldwide, while advocating for the inclusion and accessibility they deserve.

Deaf individuals often face additional barriers in education, healthcare, and employment, especially within marginalized and minority communities. TAMM is committed to raising awareness, fostering understanding, and ensuring that sign language and the rights of the Deaf community are respected and prioritized.

This year’s theme is a reminder that “A World Where Deaf People Everywhere Can Sign Anywhere!” Let’s champion accessibility, promote inclusion, and celebrate the vibrant culture of the Deaf community. Together, we can create a more inclusive, equitable world for all.

🤝 Sign language is a human right—let’s support it!

At TAMM, we are deeply concerned about the ongoing challenges minorities and marginalized groups face in Somalia, East Africa. From lack of access to essential services to systemic inequalities, these barriers continue to hinder progress for many. As a women-led and minority-focused non-profit organization, we are actively working to address these issues and create lasting change.

In light of current events, we call upon leaders, organizations, and communities to come together and prioritize the rights and well-being of marginalized groups, particularly women and minorities, who remain disproportionately affected. TAMM believes in a society where everyone has an equal chance to thrive—no one should be left behind!

📢 Let’s take action! Together, we can break down barriers, foster inclusion, and build a future where every voice is heard.

At TAMM, we are dedicated to amplifying the voices of minorities and marginalized communities, advocating for equal opportunities, and promoting inclusion in every aspect of life. Responding to the Flood Aftermath in Galkayo South and Adado Districts:
In the wake of the devastating flooding that struck Galkayo South and Adado districts in November and December 2023, the scale of displacement and destruction has been staggering. Our hearts go out to all those affected.
TAMM has stepped in to provide crucial assistance to 160 households severely impacted by the floods. These families, who have been enduring the hardships of displacement while residing in camps in Adado and Galkayo districts within Galmudug State, have received vital aid to help alleviate their suffering and facilitate their recovery process.
Through our targeted interventions, we aim to provide not just immediate relief but also a pathway to long-term resilience and recovery for those grappling with the aftermath of these devastating floods.
Let's stand together and support our communities in their journey towards recovery and rebuilding.
