Child labor is dangerous and illegal. Every child has the right to education, safety, and a healthy childhood. Forcing children to work in harmful conditions steals their future and puts their lives at risk. Parents, employers, and communities must protect children and ensure they go to school instead of work.

1. Right to Life and Survival

Every child has the right to a name and to belong to a country.

3. Right to Education

Children have the right to go to school and receive free and quality basic education.

4. Right to Protection

Children must be protected from:

Abuse and violence

Child labor

Exploitation and neglect

5. Right to Health Care

Children have the right to medical care, clean water, nutritious food, and a healthy environment.

6. Right to Family Care

Children have the right to live with their parents or guardians in a loving and caring home.

7. Right to Equality

All children are equal. No discrimination based on:

Gender

Religion

Disability

Race or background

8. Right to Play and Rest

Children have the right to play, relax, and enjoy childhood.

9. Right to Freedom of Expression

Children can express their opinions and be listened to in matters that affect them.
