The donation, consisting of essential food supplies, was delivered to extremely vulnerable and destitute households with little to no access to basic necessities in the Jamuuriya and Gubadleey areas, in support of the blessed month of Ramadan.

This initiative reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to standing with disadvantaged communities, particularly those affected by conflict and prolonged drought across the country.

In Somalia, ongoing drought has left millions in urgent need:

• Approximately 4 to 5 million people are facing food insecurity• Over 1.5 million children are suffering from malnutrition• Around 3 million people have been internally displaced due to drought and conflict
