Field Update β April 10, 2026
Today, field teams conducted a follow-up visit to Luuq, Yurkud IDPs as part of the ongoing Aid Diversion Campaign 2026, reinforcing commitments to accountability, transparency, and community engagement.
The session brought together Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) for an interactive and informative dialogue centered on:
β Strengthening awareness of aid diversion and its impact
β Promoting transparent and fair aid distribution processes
β Encouraging the use of safe, confidential, and trusted reporting mechanisms
Highlights from todayβs session:
Community members demonstrated strong engagement, openly discussing their experiences and raising concerns regarding aid access and distribution challenges.
The session created a safe and inclusive space for dialogue, enabling participants to ask questions and better understand their rights and entitlements.
Key focus areas included:
β Building trust and confidence in complaint and feedback systems.
β Promoting inclusion of women, minority groups, and persons with disabilities in decision-making spaces.
β Reinforcing shared community responsibility in preventing aid diversion
Through todayβs engagement, participants were not only informed but further empowered to take an active role in safeguarding humanitarian assistance and promoting accountability within their communities.
