The Ministry of Agriculture and Development, represented by Eid Mohamed, and the Somaliland Chemical Society (SLCS), represented by Mohamed Omer, successfully co-hosted a crucial 3-day workshop on Strengthening Chemical Security through Know-Your-Customer (KYC) practices. Held in Hargeisa, Somaliland from January 6th to 8th, 2025, the workshop convened experts from the agrochemical sector. The primary objective was to address and mitigate critical challenges related to KYC implementation for chemical safety and security.
