Last night’s Chevening Scholarship Information Sharing Session was truly an amazing and engaging evening. 🇬🇧

What stood out most was the enthusiasm and determination of the young people who joined us. Their eagerness to learn, pursue educational opportunities, reach their full potential, and turn their dreams into reality was truly inspiring.

A big thank you to Mahdi Ismail for generously sharing his Chevening experience, insights, and guidance with the next generation of Somaliland’s future leaders.

At Hargeisa Debates, we believe that creating access to knowledge, information, and meaningful conversations is an important step toward empowering young people to achieve their potential.

We enjoyed the opportunity to exchange views, introduce him to the work of Hargeisa Debates, and discuss the importance of fostering informed dialogue. We are grateful for his visit and his valuable contribution to an excellent evening of discussion.

Our discussion on “Somaliland and the Changing Geopolitics of the Red Sea” was engaging, insightful, and filled with thoughtful perspectives on one of the most important issues shaping our region today.
