MAAN Celebrates Somaliland’s 35th Anniversary in Addis Ababa 🇪🇹

The General Secretary of MAAN – Moge Action for Awareness and Networking, Mr. Khalid Abshir Ibrahim, proudly attended the 35th Anniversary of Somaliland’s Independence Restoration celebration in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

On 16th May 2026, Moge Action for Awareness and Networking (MAAN) proudly held an important Constitution Review Meeting at Gacalle Hotel/City Gate Hotel, Hargeisa, Republic of Somaliland, following the submission of the first draft of the MAAN Constitution.

The meeting brought together MAAN members and leadership representatives for a productive and prolonged discussion on the Constitution’s articles, where members actively shared discussions, suggestions, comments, and proposed amendments aimed at strengthening and refining the document. Members of the Board of Directors (BoD) also attended and contributed to the discussions.

The Chairman of MAAN, Mr. Liibaan M. Gamadiid, was away for work duties and unable to attend the meeting. The session was chaired by Mr. Mubarak Ahmed Bunni, Deputy Chairman, alongside Mr. Khalid Abshir, Secretary, who jointly facilitated the constitutional review process.

The discussions reflected MAAN’s ongoing effort to build a stronger, more effective, and well-governed institution. Through collaboration and shared ideas, MAAN continues to strengthen its institutional framework, promote effective governance, and enhance its impact in awareness and networking activities.

👏 Special appreciation and thanks to Mr. Abdirahman Sabry and Mr. Abokor Raygal for their dedicated efforts in drafting the MAAN Constitution, an important contribution toward strengthening the organization’s institutional foundation.

Xubnuhu waxay si firfircoon uga qayb qaateen doodaha, talooyinka, faallooyinka iyo soo jeedimaha wax-ka-beddelka ah ee lagu xoojinayo laguna tayaynayo dastuurka. Sidoo kale, xubno ka tirsan Guddida Agaasimayaasha (BoD) ayaa kasoo qayb galay kulanka kana qayb qaatay doodaha iyo talooyinka.

Guddoomiyaha MAAN, Mudane Liibaan M. Gamadiid, waxa uu ku maqnaa waajibaad shaqo sidaas darteedna k**a soo qayb geli karin kulank, sidaa darteed shirka waxa guddoominayay Mudane Mubarak Ahmed Bunni, Guddoomiye Ku-xigeenka, isaga oo uu wehelinayo Mudane Khalid Abshir, Xoghayaha ururka, kuwaas oo si wadajir ah u fududeeyay geeddi-socodka dib-u-eegista dastuurka.

Doodaha iyo falanqayntani waxay muujiyeen dedaalka joogtada ah ee MAAN ugu jirto dhismaha hay’ad adag, hufan, isla markaana leh hannaan maamul oo wanaagsan. Iyadoo loo marayo wada-shaqayn iyo fikrad-wadaag, MAAN waxay sii xoojinaysaa qaab-dhismeedkeeda hay’adeed, kor u qaadista maamulka wanaagsan, iyo kordhinta saamaynteeda dhinacyada wacyigelinta iyo isku-xidhka bulshada.
