As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Care Group members in Qansax Dheere gathered for a community session focused on maternal and child nutrition, caregiving practices, and mental wellbeing.
The session created an opportunity for women and caregivers to learn together, exchange experiences, and discuss the importance of mental health in building healthier families and stronger communities. Good mental health is essential to effective childcare practices, enabling caregivers to provide emotional support, proper care, and a safe environment for children’s growth and development.
Through community engagement and awareness, Care Groups continue to promote wellbeing, resilience, and positive caregiving practices. SOVA with funding support from the SHF, remains committed to strengthening community wellbeing through inclusive awareness and learning sessions that support women, children, and caregivers.
