As the third day of the Capacity Building Workshop draws to a close, participants are concluding intensive sessions on Advocacy, Co-design, and Co-creation of Digital Advocacy & Campaign Strategies on Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) at the National Level.

Throughout the day, youth have been developing participatory lobbying actions aimed at decision makers, articulating concrete advocacy plans for their respective localities, and identifying the financial and material resources required for implementation.

The discussions and reflections taking place currently are reinforcing the strong commitment of Somali youth to advance peace, security, and inclusive governance. Their engagement continues to demonstrate that young people are not only beneficiaries but also key drivers of sustainable change.

🌍 Day 3 | Capacity Building Workshop – Agents of Peace

Today, participants are engaging in sessions on Advocacy, Co-design, and Co-creation of Digital Advocacy & Campaign Strategies on Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) at the National Level.

✅ They are developing participatory lobbying actions targeting decision makers.
✅ The session is being led by participants, while the facilitator is providing guidance and deeper insights where needed.
✅ Youth are mapping out their future advocacy plans for their localities and are identifying the financial and material resources required to make these initiatives a reality.

The workshop is continuing to empower Somali youth to take ownership of their role in peacebuilding, governance, and decision-making through practical and action-oriented approaches.
