Training for Education Supervisors Staff
Burco: The Ministry of Education, Parenting, and Science of the Republic of Somaliland, in collaboration with the SOYVO organization, has conducted a 3-day training in the city of Burao for the district education supervisors—staff of the country. Save the Children, a consortium member of SOYVO, manages the GPE project, which funds this training.
The opening of the training was attended by the Governor of the Togdheer Region, the Director of the Quality Assurance Department of the Ministry of Education, the Education Regional officer of the Togdheer Region, and the Director of the SOYVO organization.
This training, as part of efforts to enhance the capacity of education supervisors, aims to strengthen the understanding and skills of the staff, particularly those involved in supervision and assessment of school quality, to ensure that the quality of education in the country meets the standards and national goals.
At the end of the training, it is expected that the trained staff will acquire new knowledge and skills, which they can use to improve the inspection and evaluation process, ultimately achieving high-quality education and sustainable development for the students of Somaliland.
