Tabobarka ayaa intii uu socday si weyn loogu lafa-guray sidii looga hor tagi lahaa, iyo tallaabooyinka laga qaadayo haddii ay dhacaan.

Somaliland Ministry of Education and Science in collaboration with the SOYVO organization, held a training in the city of Burao focused on preventing abuse in educational settings.
During the training, extensive discussions were held on how to prevent such incidents and the measures to be taken if they occur.
The training also focused on ways to enhance Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS).
Organized by the Gender Department of the Ministry of Education, the training aimed to strengthen the knowledge of school administrators and teachers on abuse prevention and health care. It targeted schools implementing the Education Cannot Wait“, which is being carried out by the Ministry of Education partnership UNICEF Somalia

SOYVO, in collaboration with the Somaliland Ministry of Education and Science, conducted training on the School Development Plan (SIP) and the management of school capitation grants, supported by the ECW project in Buhoodle and Burao districts. The training was provided to Community Education Committees (CECs).

Training for Education Supervisors Staff
Burco: The Ministry of Education, Parenting, and Science of the Republic of Somaliland, in collaboration with the SOYVO organization, has conducted a 3-day training in the city of Burao for the district education supervisors—staff of the country. Save the Children, a consortium member of SOYVO, manages the GPE project, which funds this training.
The opening of the training was attended by the Governor of the Togdheer Region, the Director of the Quality Assurance Department of the Ministry of Education, the Education Regional officer of the Togdheer Region, and the Director of the SOYVO organization.
This training, as part of efforts to enhance the capacity of education supervisors, aims to strengthen the understanding and skills of the staff, particularly those involved in supervision and assessment of school quality, to ensure that the quality of education in the country meets the standards and national goals.
At the end of the training, it is expected that the trained staff will acquire new knowledge and skills, which they can use to improve the inspection and evaluation process, ultimately achieving high-quality education and sustainable development for the students of Somaliland.

with the support of NAFIS Network and , Successfully created 6 Cluster Level Associations (CLAs) consist of 860 members , on social cohesion and effective referral pathways, represents a significant advancement in local capacity building and community resilience. Conducted with a clear focus on enhancing interpersonal ties and improving access to essential services, the training equipped CLA members with both conceptual understanding and practical tools to foster inclusive social environments and navigate referral systems more efficiently.
CLA members to act as constructive agents within their communities—promoting dialogue, bridging social divides, and encouraging collective participation in local development efforts. Strengthened social cohesion reduces vulnerability, enhances communal support mechanisms, and creates an enabling environment for sustainable interventions.

These enterprises not only offer immediate economic opportunities for beneficiaries but also strengthen the local economy, increase household resilience, and complement social cohesion by providing shared economic interests and collaborative ventures

In 2025, SOYVO was established Self Help Groups with 200 poor women to understand and gain knowledge about banking, finance, law in Burao, Ainabo distracts. Also includes destitute children in program packages. In selecting beneficiary, the SHG consider the age, s*x, and poverty level of the local people.

The aim of the project in particularly target resource constrained female-headed households to concerted efforts in reducing poverty and empowering women. In economic terms, members of the SHG have access to saving and credit facilities and can receive business skills training from association in order to run small businesses of their own.

Tartankan oo ka caawiyeen wasaaradda waxbarashada Haayadda SOYVO iyo Dawladda Hoose ee Burco.

The Ministry of Education of Togdheer Region held academic Competition for 42 schools in Burao, with 156 students representing the schools. 4 schools won the competition
The competition was organized and led by the Togdheer regional Education office and supported by SOYVO and the Burao Local Government.
