Training On: Good Agriculture Practice (GAP)
7-8 Sept, 2024, Baidoa, Somalia.
A two-day training was completed today to improve the knowledge of farmers, which was titled: Good Agriculture Practice (GAP).
On the first day there were lessons, and on the second day there was a field practice where the farmers were advised what they had learned as shown in the picture.
This training was carried out by the "Herald Institute for Peace, Research and Development (HIPRAD)" and the "South West State Chamber of Commerce".
The purpose of this training was to increase the knowledge of farmers and cooperatives to improve the understanding of scientific farming and the country's production to get enough food for the people of this area and the rest of the country.
This training was given by experts in agriculture and benefited about 50 farmers, and it will be a training held once a month to reach more farmers with farming skills.
