30 prestataires formés. 3 jours sur le terrain. 🇸🇳

Du 13 au 15 juillet, on était à Keur Massar avec notre partenaire , et l’appui des acteurs communautaires locaux, pour former des prestataires de santé en Planification Familiale : méthodes contraceptives modernes, counseling, bonnes pratiques cliniques.

Merci à DKT International pour ce partenariat, et à chaque prestataire et acteur local mobilisé — c’est grâce à vous que plus de femmes auront accès à une information claire pour choisir en toute liberté 🙏

From July 13 to 15, we were in Keur Massar with our partner , and support from local community actors, training health providers in Family Planning: modern contraceptive methods, counseling, clinical best practices.

🤝 La semaine dernière, nous avons eu la joie d’accueillir notre partenaire Vitamin Angels représenté par Suleiman Yakubu, Africa Regional MERL Coordinator, à Dakar !
Au programme : un échange riche autour de notre collaboration, des indicateurs de suivi, de l’approvisionnement et des priorités de santé au Sénégal, ainsi que des objectifs à atteindre ensemble dans les mois à venir.
Nous avons également eu la chance d’accompagner Suleiman sur le terrain, pour lui faire découvrir de près le travail quotidien de nos équipes auprès des communautés.

🤝 Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our partner Vitamin Angels, represented by Suleiman Yakubu, Africa Regional MERL Coordinator at Vitamin Angels, to our Dakar offices!
During his visit, we had a rich discussion on our collaboration, monitoring indicators, supply chain, and Senegal’s health priorities, as well as the objectives we aim to achieve together in the months ahead.
We were also glad to take Suleiman to the field, giving him a firsthand look at our teams’ daily work within the communities.

This invitation is bigger than a stage. It reflects the daily work of community health workers (ASCs) who bring care closer to rural families across Senegal — and the belief that artificial intelligence can strengthen, not replace, that essential human connection.
During the session, stories from the communities FOHSEN walks alongside will be shared, along with a vision for what rural health care in Africa can become when technology and human proximity move forward together.
