As the 16 Days of Activism come to a close, we at Women’s Action for Gender Equality Sierra Leone pause to reflect with gratitude and renewed determination. Over the past days, we have seen powerful conversations, stronger community engagement, and growing solidarity in the fight against gender-based violence. These gains remind us that change is happening step by step, voice by voice.
Yet we also acknowledge that challenges remain. The work is far from over, but we believe firmly that with time, commitment, and collective effort, we will reach the future we are fighting for. This year’s theme has inspired us to deepen our actions, and we are ready to carry that energy forward long after these 16 days.
We are proud to have been part of this year’s campaign and even prouder to continue this work every day. Together, we will get there.
