Today's the day!!!! All week preparations have been underway for today's Christmas party... thanks to some very generous donations we've been able to buy food and presents for the children. Meanwhile, the children have been busy practicing their dance routines for this afternoon... Watch this space!

After a bumpy half-day journey from Freetown, our star social worker Alusine Bangura has just arrived in Makeni! The children are so happy to see him again - here is a video of the welcome party 😊💃🏿🕺🏿

From now until Sunday, Alusine will oversee operations at our academy, engage the children to assess their wellbeing, and help with preparations for our kids' Christmas party on Saturday. Welcome, Alusine! 🥳🎄🎁🍲✨️
