We thank God for our journey to Patfu-Masorie, a village located in Tokolili District, very close to Yele, the center of Sierra Leone.
During our visit to the community, we traveled a long distance from Makeni, which took about two hours by motorcycle. The express road and the graded road were in good condition until we reached the junction that leads to the village, called Mayopoh. From Mayopoh to Patfu-Masorie, the road is very narrow and bumpy, but we continued the journey because we are passionate about reaching the unreached.
Upon our arrival in the community, we were warmly received by the community elders and had a discussion with one of the community leaders. He informed us that there is no church, no school, and no clinic in the village, and that the children have to trek many miles to attend school.
He also stated that there are more than 700 inhabitants in the community.
Therefore, we are praying and trusting God to take action for this community.
