Building on the momentum from day one, Caritas Kenema, with support from Catholic Relief Services (CRS), successfully held the second day of its communications training, with a strong focus on writing and presenting compelling success stories, as well as strengthening organizational branding.
The session brought together staff, volunteers, and affiliates who actively engaged in practical exercises designed to sharpen their storytelling skills. Participants learned how to capture real-life impact, structure success stories in a clear and engaging way, and present them confidently to different audiences. Emphasis was placed on authenticity, clarity, and highlighting the human impact behind every intervention.
In addition, the training explored the importance of organizational branding—ensuring that all communications reflect the identity, values, and mission of Caritas. Participants gained a better understanding of how consistent messaging, visuals, and tone contribute to building trust and recognition among partners and communities.
By the end of the day, participants were better equipped to tell powerful stories of change and to represent Caritas Kenema in a more unified and professional manner. This continued effort is expected to further strengthen the organization’s visibility, credibility, and connection with the communities it serves.
