FREE SUMMER SCHOOL AT JEFFERSON BAPTIST PRIMARY SCHOOL, LANGO TOWN, KENEMA

Jefferson Baptist Primary School is currently conducting a Free Summer School Programme for children from Class One to JSS Three.

The programme began on 27th July 2026 and will continue until 28th August 2026, with classes held Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Today, representatives of Jefferson Old Pupils Association National (JOPAN) visited the school and were delighted to see pupils actively learning and teachers dedicating their time to this wonderful initiative. We commend the school management and teaching staff for their commitment to supporting children's education during the holiday.

This programme is a valuable opportunity for children to strengthen their learning, and we encourage parents to take advantage of it.

We also appeal to individuals, businesses, churches, organizations, and other well-wishers to support this initiative with educational materials, food items, cash donations, or volunteer teaching services.

Today, representatives of the Jefferson Old Pupils Association National (JOPAN) had the privilege of meeting with Rev. Sengovah at Jefferson School Campus.

The meeting was warm, productive, and filled with encouragement. Rev. Sengovah welcomed JOPAN and expressed his joy at seeing former pupils reconnecting to support both the school and the church. He reaffirmed his willingness to work alongside the association and encouraged us to remain united as we pursue our vision.

We are also grateful for his prayers, words of encouragement, and commitment to fostering a strong relationship between JOPAN, the school, and the church.

This meeting marks another important step in our journey as we continue to reconnect Jeffersonians and contribute to the growth and development of our beloved alma mater.

JOPAN REPRESENTS AT JEFFERSON SCHOOL CHURCH THANKSGIVING SERVICE 🙏🏽💙

Today, the Jefferson Old Pupils Association National (JOPAN) had the honour of attending the Thanksgiving Service at Jefferson School Church as invited guests and representatives of our alumni family.

We were warmly received by Rev. Sengovah, the School Headmistress, and the entire congregation. It was truly a memorable and inspiring experience to return to the place where many of us began our educational journey and to witness the love and unity that continue to exist within the Jefferson community.

On behalf of JOPAN, we presented our token of support to the church as a symbol of our appreciation and our commitment to giving back to our alma mater. We were also given the opportunity to address the congregation, where we shared the vision and mission of JOPAN-to reconnect former pupils, promote unity, support one another, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Jefferson Schools.

We are deeply grateful to the church leadership for their warm hospitality, kind words, and the opportunity to fellowship with them. Special thanks to everyone who continues to support the vision of JOPAN. Together, we are rebuilding the Jefferson family, one step at a time.

We are also delighted to announce that Rev. Sengovah has invited JOPAN for a face-to-face meeting to discuss future collaboration between the church, the school, and our association. We look forward to this important engagement and will keep our members informed once the meeting is scheduled.

📸 A VISIT BACK HOME, JEFFERSON SCHOOL CAMPUS 💖

On Monday, 22nd June 2026, I had the privilege of visiting Jefferson School Campus, Lango Town, Kenema, where I spent some wonderful moments with the current pupils and took a few memorable photos together.

Seeing these young learners brought back so many beautiful memories of our own days in school, the friendships, the lessons, the laughter, and the dreams we carried as children. It was both joyful and emotional to stand once again on the same grounds that helped shape many of us into who we are today.

As Jefferson Old Pupils Association National (JOPAN), our mission is not only to reconnect former pupils but also to inspire and support the next generation of Jeffersonians. We believe that every child in this school deserves hope, encouragement, and opportunities to succeed.

To all former pupils, wherever you are, remember that Jefferson is still home. Let us continue to unite, give back, and help restore the pride and excellence of our beloved school.

Welcome to the official page of the Jefferson Old Pupils Association National (JOPAN), the recognized alumni association of former pupils of Jefferson Baptist Primary School and Jefferson Secondary School, Lango Town, Kenema, Sierra Leone.

JOPAN was established to reconnect former pupils across Sierra Leone and around the world, promote unity and lifelong friendship, support one another, and contribute to the growth and development of our beloved alma mater.
