Day 9
12th October 2025
Young Life Kenema - Sierra Leone.

Psalm 133 (NIV)
1. How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
2. It is like precious oil poured on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard,
down on the collar of his robe.
3. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling
on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
life forevermore.

My Prayer for us all:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of unity and harmony among us your people. May we live together in perfect unity, reflecting Your love and grace to the world. Just as the precious oil flows abundantly and the dew refreshes the land, may Your Spirit overflow in our lives and bring blessings to those around us.

Lord, bestow Your blessings upon us, and grant us life forevermore. May our unity be a testament to Your goodness and love, and may we bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Global Day of Prayer
Day: 7
October 10th 2025
Young Life Kenema- Sierra Leone.

Psalm 131:
1. Lord, my heart is not lifted up;
my eyes are not raised too high.
I do not occupy myself with things
too great and too marvelous for me.
2. But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
like a weaned child with its mother;
my soul is like a weaned child within me.
3. O Israel, hope in the Lord
from this time forth and forevermore.

My Prayer for us all:
Dear Heavenly Father,

Help us to cultivate humility and trust in You. Calm our soul and quiet our heart, like a weaned child resting against its mother. Teach us to rest in Your presence and find peace in Your love.

Give us the strength to let go of pride and ambition, and instead, focus on Your will for our lives. Help us to trust in Your goodness and provision, knowing that You are always with us.
May we find contentment in Your presence and peace in Your love. Amen.

Reflection:
Take a moment to reflect on Psalm 131. How can you apply its teachings to your life?
Consider praying this psalm when you need to quiet your soul and trust in God's presence.

Psalm 127

1. Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.
2. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he gives sleep to his beloved.
3. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
4. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.
5. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in the gate.

Psalm 128

1. Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.
2. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
4. Yes, this will be true of the man who fears the Lord.
5. May the Lord bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

My Prayer for us all:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your presence and provision in our lives. You are the builder of our houses and the guardian of our cities. We trust in your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that you give rest to those you love. Bless us with your presence and peace, and may our lives be a testimony to your greatness. May our children be like arrows in our hands, equipped to make a difference in the world for your glory. We ask for your blessing and protection over our families, that we may be fruitful and prosperous in all we do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 4. October 7th
Psalm 125, Psalm 126.

Psalm 125
1. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
2. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
3. The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for the righteous might become entangled in wickedness.
4. Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts.
5. But those who turn to crooked ways the Lord will banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel [1].

Psalm 126
1. When the Lord restored the exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream come true.
2. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."
3. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
4. Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev.
5. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
6. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

My Prayer for us all:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your protection and provision. You surround us with your presence, just like the mountains surround Jerusalem. We trust in your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that you do good to those who are upright in heart. Restore our joy and fortunes, Lord, like streams in the desert. May we sow seeds of righteousness and reap a harvest of joy. Bless us with your presence and peace, and may our lives be a testimony to your greatness.
Amen!

Day 3.
October 6th

Scripture: Psalm 124.

Psalm 124

1. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3. Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4. Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5. Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6. Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth ¹.

My Prayer for us all:

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for your presence and protection in our lives. We acknowledge that without you, we would be overwhelmed by the challenges and enemies that surround us. You are our help and our shield, and we are grateful for your deliverance. Just like a bird escaping from a snare, we have been set free from the traps of our enemies. We bless your holy name and declare that our help is in you, the Maker of heaven and earth. May we continue to trust in you and find strength in your presence.
