THE CEO OF MUSLIM WOMEN'S TEACHING CHARITY FOUNDATION & DAWAH WITH SISTER UMU REMEMBERS YOU ALL ON THIS BEAUTIFUL EID AL-FITR AND BEYOND.

As the blessed month of Ramadan comes to a close, my heart is filled with gratitude, reflection, and love for every one of you.
Though I find myself in Guinea—home away from home—my thoughts, prayers, and affection are deeply with you all. Distance may separate us physically, but in faith and spirit, we remain united.
Alhamdulillah for the strength to fast, the patience to endure, and the countless mercies Allah has bestowed upon us throughout this sacred month. I am sincerely grateful for your support, your prayers, your kindness, and the roles you all played in making this Ramadan meaningful; not just for me, but for the communities we continue to serve together.

On this joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I make this heartfelt dua for you: May Allah accept all your (acts of worship), forgive your shortcomings, and grant you peace that settles in your hearts. May He bless your homes with joy, your lives with barakah, and your families with good health and unwavering faith. May your secret prayers be answered, your struggles eased, and your sacrifices rewarded abundantly.
Eid is a time of love, unity, and giving; may we carry the lessons of Ramadan beyond this month and continue to uplift one another in goodness and sincerity.

From the depths of my heart, I say thank you for your support, your trust, and your constant presence.
Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones. May it be a celebration filled with light, laughter, and divine blessings.
ALLAHUMA AMEEN 🙏🏿.

With love and prayers always. 🌙✨

A SEASON OF GIVING, COMPASSION, AND SERVICE.
MUSLIM WOMEN'S TEACHING CHARITY FOUNDATION EXTENDS HANDS OF ALMS IN THE MONTH OF RAMADAN.

The blessed month of Ramadan continues to remind us of the beauty of generosity, unity, and sincere service for the sake of Allah. During this sacred period, the Muslim Women's Teaching Charity Foundation, particularly its Freetown Branch, demonstrated remarkable compassion by reaching out to several masjids across the municipality of Freetown with meaningful donations aimed at supporting communities and strengthening places of worship.
As part of this Ramadan outreach, Masjid Jamin in the Dwarzack community received one bag of rice, twenty bags of cement, and an envelope containing LE 500 to support its needs. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, New Castle Street, Kissy Mess-Mess (Kargbo Lane Branch), benefitted from LE 600, one bag of rice, and two bundles of zinc. Likewise, Masjid Mujahideen at Pentagon New Site, Lumley, received twenty bags of cement, one bag of rice, and LE 500, while Masjid Taquer was supported with twenty bags of cement, one bag of rice, and an envelope containing LE 600. These gestures reflect a sincere commitment to supporting the Muslim community and ensuring that houses of Allah continue to grow and serve their congregations.

Beyond Sierra Leone, the spirit of Ramadan giving extended across borders to Guinea, where the Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Umu Hawa Keita Jalloh, personally led a humanitarian outreach in Bandakoro. In this noble initiative, 50 family heads were supported with food supplies, drinking water, and seed cash to help them observe Ramadan with dignity and also prepare for the joyous celebration of Eid al‑Fitr.
In addition, five mosques in Bandakoro benefitted from the outreach, receiving bags of rice, bundles of water, and seed cash to assist their congregations during this sacred time. These acts of kindness are a testament to the foundation’s unwavering dedication to humanitarian service and Islamic solidarity.

None of these noble efforts would have been possible without the generous support and encouragement of the Muslim community. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Freetown Branch of the Muslim Women's Teaching Charity Foundation, whose commitment and tireless efforts made these Ramadan donations possible.
May Allah reward every donor, volunteer, and supporter abundantly. May these acts of charity continue to bring relief, strengthen our communities, and multiply blessings in this sacred month. Allahuma Ameen.

Indeed, all of these were carried out sincerely for the sake of Allah.

MUSLIM WOMEN’S TEACHING CHARITY FOUNDATION BAGS ANOTHER AWARD AT THIS YEAR’S 6TH NATIONAL ISLAMIC AWARDS COURTESY OF YADI

On December 25th, barely two days ago, Muslim Women’s Teaching Charity Foundation was awarded the ISLAMIC FEMALE ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR.

Our organization has been a testament of our growing faith. And the fact that we are fighting a worthy cause (for the sake of Allah) makes us deserving of this award. In our four years of existence, we have always been supportive of women and girls in the DEAN. As a nonprofit Islamic organization, our mandate goes beyond just visiting hard-to-each communities, co-constructing masjids, the provision of praying and non praying items etc. we equally liaise with other likeminded organizations for the betterment of Islam.

Alhamdulilah!

This award is not the first; we have done similarly in the past years (won Inspirational Muslim Woman of the Year, best Female Organization of the Year etc). Alhamdulilah!

At this point, we would like to give the membership of YOUTH IN ACTION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISLAM (YADI) a special thanks for pulling such a great event. May Allah continue to grant you the wherewithal to hold events of this nature. Ameen🙏🏾

To the membership of this organization, thank you for the votes and collective efforts to make this happen. We owe it all to the membership and executive of the Muslim Women’s Teaching Charities Foundation.

Continue to work for Allah.

From the desk of the CEO (Sister Umu Hawa Keita Jalloh).

MY UNANNOUNCED VISIT TO SISTER A'ISHA KOROMA IN FREETOWN.

Alhamdulilah.

When I chanced upon the post/video online about a sister who needs urgent medical help, I was instantly touched to give it my time. I never knew the young sister had been a follower of my socials. Alhamdulilah.

A'isha Koroma, a teenage girl living in Freetown, is battling with cancer.😭 I can only imagine what the sister is going through. In the words of late Marcellus Williams (Khalifa), "ALL PRAISE BE TO ALLAH IN EVERY SITUATION." We thank Allah for the gift; and we will continue to pray to Him for the restoration of our sister's health.

When I got on the phone with sister A'isha Koroma for the first time, I asked her what she wanted from me. I listed a few things I could offer. Walahi, the young lady said she only wanted to see me. I was astonished at first and repeated my question. A'isha Koroma insisted on seeing me only - the only gift she ever wants is my presence. Subhanallah. Well, I didn't promise her owing to the distance between us.

Earlier yesterday, I left Kenema for Freetown to honor our darling sister's wish. Walahi, it's an honor for me to be in her presence. I can't adequately express the feeling of her warmth and candour. I felt it in me that Allah wanted our paths to cross. I look forward to another meeting (s) with sister A'isha Koroma.

May Allah grant you quick shif'a. Allahuma Ameen 🙏🏿

The video captures my first ever meeting with sister A'isha Koroma. Try not to shed a tear 😢. Alhamdulilah 🙏🏾
