Cathedraticum Celebration 2026

On Sunday, the four parishes of the Koinadugu Deanery gathered at Holy Martyrs of Uganda Parish, Kabala, to celebrate the Cathedraticum.

The celebration was graced by His Lordship Bishop John Hassan Koroma, accompanied by the Vicar General, Fr. Johnson, and the Diocesan Secretary, Fr. Felix. The Knights of St. John International were also present.
It was a beautiful day of faith and unity.

Annual Lenten Pilgrimage at the Archdiocese of Freetown.

A simple walk of faith 🙏
The parishes within Makeni Municipality in the Diocese of Makeni came together for a Lenten Pilgrimage. We began at St. Conforti Parish with the Holy Rosary and the Stations of the Cross, praying as we walked.

We ended at the Bishop’s compound with a penitential rite and Holy Mass led by His Lordship, John Hassan Koroma.
It was a beautiful moment to pray, reflect, and draw closer to God
