Inter-Area Disability Sport Event

Over the weekend, our orphanage home proudly organized an inter-area disability sport competition, bringing together more than 500 persons living with disabilities.

🏆 Results:

• Magbafti Community – 162 points
• Rogbere Community – 152 points
• Fogbo Community – 140 points

Happy Independence Day, Sierra Leone! 🇸🇱

Today we celebrate 65 years of independence — and we celebrate it from the heart of Rogbere, 26 miles outside of Freetown, where we have been walking alongside this community for 15 years.

What started with a single act of generosity — seed money to build a school — has grown into a 63-acre site of hope: schools, an orphanage, vocational training, a football academy, and a new community centre now open to the village.

We believe Sierra Leone’s transformation begins in places like Rogbere. When mindsets shift, when young people are educated, fed, skilled and believed in — a nation changes.

This Independence Day, we honour every Sierra Leonean daring to build something better. 💚🤍💙
