The Kono Students’ Union–Fourah Bay College (KonSU-FBC) Chapter proudly stands in strong support of the ongoing KoNSU National Secretariat Renovation Project. As a united academic body, we recognize the immense value of this initiative, not only as a symbol of our collective identity but also as a foundation for effective student leadership and development.

We wish to highly commend the unwavering commitment and visionary leadership of our National President, Madam Veronica Sia Morsay. Her dedication to the progress and transformation of the Union is both inspiring and commendable. Despite the challenges currently faced, particularly the shortage of essential construction materials, her determination continues to drive this project forward.

As a unit, we strongly recommend and endorse this noble effort, and we hereby make a passionate appeal to well-meaning individuals, alumni, stakeholders, and partners to support this cause. Your generous contributions, no matter how small, will significantly accelerate the completion of both the National Secretariat and the KonSU-FBC Garden Project, which aims to provide a conducive sitting and relaxation space for students.

This is more than just a renovation; it is an investment in unity, student empowerment, and the future of the Kono student community. Together, let us rise to this call and make this vision a reality.

Signed,
Hon. Omar Saa Pessima

🇸🇱 SIERRA LEONE @ 65 — A MESSAGE FROM KONSU-FBC STUDENTS 🇸🇱
On this historic day, as Sierra Leone marks 65 years of independence, I proudly write on behalf of our President, Sahr Umar Pessima, and the entire KONSU-FBC Chapter to extend our deepest love and warmest congratulations to all Sierra Leoneans.
Today is more than a celebration — it is a reflection of our journey as a nation. A journey marked by trials, yet defined by courage; challenged by setbacks, yet strengthened by unity. Through it all, Sierra Leone continues to stand tall because of the unwavering spirit of its people.
As students, we recognize that the future of this nation rests in our hands. We are inspired by the sacrifices of those who came before us, and we are committed to building a Sierra Leone that reflects justice, opportunity, and progress for all.
Let this 65th Independence Anniversary remind us: ✨ To remain united despite our differences
✨ To lead with integrity and purpose
✨ To embrace wisdom as we shape our future

KONSU-FBC CHAPTER Hails Gallant Officers On Army Force Day: Celebrating Our Protectors, Building Future Bridges

KONSU-FBC CHAPTER, join the entire nation in Celebrating the brave men and women of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) on the momentous occasion of Army Force Day.
This day stands powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of our soldiers who work tirelessly to safeguard the peace, security and territorial integrity of our beloved Sierra Leone. As students of the nation's oldest university, we are particularly mindful of the stable environment they provide, which allows us to pursue our academic goals and build our futures.
It actually a day of acknowledgement and gratitude to the gallant officers who stand guard at our borders and patrol our street, and intervene in times of national crisis.

On behalf of KONSU national and KONSU-FBC CHAPTER
We extend our warmest felicitation to the Chief of Defence Staff, the Minister of Defence all ranks of the RSLAF.

BISMILLAHIR RAHMANIR RAHEEM

Ya Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth,
In this blessed month of Ramadan, we raise our hands and humble our hearts before You.

Send Your endless peace and blessings upon our beloved Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), his family, his companions, and all those who follow his path until the Last Day.

Ya Allah, guide the Ummah of our beloved Prophet.
Unite our hearts upon truth.
Remove hatred, jealousy, division, and misunderstanding from among us.
Replace our weakness with strength, our fear with courage, and our confusion with clarity.

Ya Allah, grant us sincere guidance.
Guide our leaders to justice.
Guide our scholars to wisdom.
Guide our youth to purpose.
Guide our families to righteousness.
Let us not be misled by pride, wealth, or worldly distractions.

Ya Razzaq (The Provider), provide for the Ummah in halal abundance.
Relieve those in poverty.
Feed the hungry.
Clothe the needy.
Grant jobs to the unemployed.
Bless our businesses, our studies, and our efforts with barakah.

Ya Hafeez (The Protector), protect the Ummah from war, oppression, disasters, and internal division.
Protect our lands from violence.
Protect our homes from sorrow.
Protect our children from harmful influences.
Protect our hearts from doubt and despair.

Ya Allah, forgive every believer; those alive and those who have returned to You.
Forgive our parents.
Forgive our teachers.
Forgive our friends.
Forgive those who have wronged us, and forgive us for those we have wronged.

Ya Allah, extend Your mercy even to those who do not yet believe.
Open their hearts to truth.
Guide them gently.
Shower them with compassion.
For indeed, Your mercy encompasses all things.

Ya Allah, we pray specially for the unity, peace, and continuous progress of our beloved union;
Kono Students' Union (KONSU).

Unite our members upon respect and brotherhood.
Remove rivalry and misunderstanding from among us.
Grant our executives wisdom and integrity.
Grant our members discipline
