Tinap for Development held a donation event on 29 October 2025 at the Regent Community Center, offering food and non-food items to sixty vulnerable residents selected from eight surrounding communities. The Village Headman’s Office supported the identification of beneficiaries.

The Country Director, Augusta Sankoh, reaffirmed the organization’s long-term commitment to Regent and highlighted earlier development work across the country. She also introduced plans for a new microfinance service and a village loan scheme.

Community leaders welcomed the initiative. Deputy Village Head Salamatu Bangura praised the support and encouraged residents to prepare for the upcoming microfinance and VSLA activities. Board Member Emma Massaquoi urged the community to see Tinap as a partner in development. Representatives from the Village Head Council described the organization as dependable and promised their cooperation.

Beneficiaries, including a widow and a disabled woman, expressed gratitude and noted that the assistance arrived at a difficult moment.
