Plastic pollution contributes to flooding, causes economic losses, especially in the tourism and fishery industries, and destroys marine life 🦀🐙🐬 and habitat 🏝️🌊, amongst others. To overcome it, one crucial step is raising awareness in our local communities.

Using lessons from our awareness campaigns in the Kroo Bay community about a few months ago, the Building Climate Resilience in the Slums Project team will be lending their vioces to raise awareness about plastic pollution in Cockle Bay this Saturday.
