This is a drive that support and strengthens women and a goal to limit Gender-Based Violence Against Women in Sierra Leone...Over 50 plus student At Kenema, NYANDEYAMA COMMUNITY graduated after completion of various skills at Radiance Training Centre, Nyadayama Community, Kenema District.

RADIANCE CENTRE FOR EDUCATION AND SOCIAL JUSTICE JUNCTION TALK AND SENSITIZATION ON GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE

Theme..... Breaking The Silence To Stop Gender Based Violence.

On the 23rd of December 2025, A team of Radiance carried out a community engagement activity which focused on the theme ". BREAKING THE SILENCE TO STOP GENDER BASED VIOLENCE", the event was held at the project site in Makolo Village, Port Loko District. It was a JUNCTION TALK and COMMUNITY SENSITIZATION to raise an awareness on gender-based violence.

A total of 46 School pupils participated alongside other beneficiaries from Radiance SL.

The activity was impactful and well respondents across the community commended Radiance for such a remarkable engagement and contribution to women and girls in soceity. THIS IS A FIGHT NOT JUST FOR RADINACE, BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT TO END GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IN OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES....

JUNCTION TALK AND SENSITIZATION ON GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND THE IMPORTANCE OF SKILLS TRAINING FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SOCIETY...

On Wednesday, 24th December, 2025 a team of members of the Radiance Centre Of Education and Social Justice held a session of community engagement at the Regent Community.
The main aim of the junction talk was to create awareness the organizations programs and to promote girls empowerment and stop sexual and gender based violence(SGBV) and to also promote positive development within the community.

During the engagement, the team met with the chairlady and the chairman of the regent park ,they were very happy to meet with the organization and welcomed the initiatives being introduced to their community.

The chairlady described program as a very good idea and a positive development for the community ,she expressed stronge interest in empowerment ,especially young girls,she also added that she does tailoring,make up and hair dressing and she knows how helpful those skills are.


The program seeks to strengthen community relationships, increased awareness about Radiance Centre, and engaged youth participation towards women and girls empowerment and development.
