WORLD SCOUT SCARF DAY 2026 🧣🌍

Today, 1st August, the Sierra Leone Scouts Association proudly commemorated World Scout Scarf Day by carrying out a community cleaning exercise, demonstrating our commitment to service, environmental stewardship, and community development.

The Scout Scarf is more than just a uniform—it is a symbol of unity, leadership, friendship, and our promise to leave the world a better place than we found it.

As Scouts, we continue to uphold the values of duty, discipline, and service above self.

Statement from the Chief Scout

The Chief Scout encouraged all young Scouts to continue their excellent work and remain committed to the values of Scouting. He urged them to go out into their communities and share the knowledge, skills, and experiences they have gained through Scouting.
