*Jagaban Witnesses Nikkah of Adopted Son, Mohamed Lamin Sesay, in Freetown*

The leading flagbearer aspirant of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Party, Sheikh Alhaji Chief Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, on Sunday, 21st December 2025, graciously witnessed the wedding ceremony of his adopted son, Mohamed Lamin Sesay, and his bride, Jalikatu Hassan Kamara, in Freetown. The solemn Nikkah was held at Masjid Rahim (Soso Mosque) on Regent Road, attended by family members, religious leaders, and well-wishers.
The marriage ceremony was officiated by a respected panel of Islamic scholars led by Chief Imam Kutubu, alongside Sheikh Alie Bangura and Sheikh Farouk Bangura. Chief Imam Kutubu conducted the Nikkah rites and offered prayers, seeking Allah’s blessings of love, unity, peace, and guidance for the newly married couple.
In a heartfelt gesture, Jagaban also offered special prayers for the couple, asking Almighty Allah to bless their home with happiness, prosperity, and enduring love. His presence at the ceremony reflected his strong commitment to family values, mentorship, and community cohesion.
Following the mosque ceremony, Jagaban joined the couple and invited guests at the wedding reception held at the YSC Complex on Wilkinson Road. The joyful celebration, marked by warmth and enthusiasm, highlighted not only the beginning of a new chapter for the couple but also Jagaban’s continued demonstration of compassionate leadership, cultural respect, and support for family and community life.
