*Jagaban Witnesses Nikkah of Adopted Son, Mohamed Lamin Sesay, in Freetown*

Freetown, 21st December 2025

The leading flagbearer aspirant of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Party, Sheikh Alhaji Chief Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, on Sunday, 21st December 2025, graciously witnessed the wedding ceremony of his adopted son, Mohamed Lamin Sesay, and his bride, Jalikatu Hassan Kamara, in Freetown. The solemn Nikkah was held at Masjid Rahim (Soso Mosque) on Regent Road, attended by family members, religious leaders, and well-wishers.

The marriage ceremony was officiated by a respected panel of Islamic scholars led by Chief Imam Kutubu, alongside Sheikh Alie Bangura and Sheikh Farouk Bangura. Chief Imam Kutubu conducted the Nikkah rites and offered prayers, seeking Allah’s blessings of love, unity, peace, and guidance for the newly married couple.

In a heartfelt gesture, Jagaban also offered special prayers for the couple, asking Almighty Allah to bless their home with happiness, prosperity, and enduring love. His presence at the ceremony reflected his strong commitment to family values, mentorship, and community cohesion.

Following the mosque ceremony, Jagaban joined the couple and invited guests at the wedding reception held at the YSC Complex on Wilkinson Road. The joyful celebration, marked by warmth and enthusiasm, highlighted not only the beginning of a new chapter for the couple but also Jagaban’s continued demonstration of compassionate leadership, cultural respect, and support for family and community life.

*Makeni Gets Major Sanitation Boost as Jagaban Supports Citywide Cleanup with CAT Excavator*

_Makeni City, Bombali District — December 15, 2025_

The Jagaban Campaign Team in Bombali District has reinforced its commitment to sustainable urban development with a major sanitation and public engagement exercise in Makeni City, culminating in the donation of a brand-new CAT excavator to support drainage clearing and flood prevention.

The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Makeni City Council, followed a recent assessment visit by APC flagbearer aspirant Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, to key public facilities including the Sylvanus F. Koroma Memorial Children’s Playground (Clock Tower) and the Central Market. During the visit, concerns over sanitation, blocked drainage systems, and recurring flooding were highlighted.

As part of the response, a comprehensive cleanup exercise was undertaken across major streets and junctions in Makeni City, including Rogbana Road, Station Road, Magburaka Road, Mennia Junction, Barracks Road Junction, Magbanta Road, Flower Corner, and Church Street. The exercise mobilized campaign volunteers and community members, reinforcing the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining a clean and healthy city.

Speaking during the exercise, Mr. Saidu John, a senior organizer and executive member of the MOK Campaign Team in Bombali District, described the intervention as both timely and impactful. He emphasized that cleanliness, unity, and citizen participation are essential pillars of community development and praised Jagaban’s leadership for translating engagement into action.

Mr. John further expressed confidence in Jagaban’s capacity to transform Sierra Leone through practical, people-centered leadership. He called on the APC District Executive in Bombali to continue supporting initiatives that directly improve the lives of residents, noting that the CAT excavator represents a long-term solution to Makeni’s drainage challenges.

The North-East Regional Coordinator of the Jagaban Campaign Team, Mr. John Musa Koroma (MJ), noted that the deployment of the excavator has already brought relief to residents, particularly market women and traders who suffer losses during the rainy season due to flooding. He urged delegates in the Bombali District to support Jagaban’s vision for sustainable development, adding that the initiative has received the endorsement of former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.

The Mayor of Makeni City Council, Hon. Mohamed L. Kamara, expressed appreciation for the timely intervention, describing the donation as a significant boost to the council’s sanitation and infrastructure efforts. He commended the Jagaban Campaign Team for responding decisively to the city’s urgent needs. Similar appreciation was echoed by Mr. Alivin Amidu Mansaray, Chairman of the Okada Riders’ Association, who lauded the initiative for its direct impact on public safety and livelihoods.

The CAT excavator will reside in Makeni for 2 weeks, another milestone in Jagaban’s community-driven approach, reinforcing his message that leadership is best measured by action, responsiveness, and tangible results for the people.
