“A peaceful future begins with a safe and healthy environment for all.”

On Saturday, 9th May 2026, SHE4Peace proudly joined the climate procession organized under the theme: “From Independence to Resilience: No Future Without Nature – Act Now Against Climate Change.”

Together with fellow youth organizations, climate advocates, community leaders, pupils, and volunteers, we stood in solidarity to raise awareness on the urgent need to protect our environment and take meaningful action against climate change.

We believe that peacebuilding goes beyond conflict prevention, it also means protecting the environment that sustains our communities and future generations. A safe, clean, and sustainable environment is essential for lasting peace, security, and human development.

We are proud of our dedicated volunteers who participated passionately in this important movement, showing that collective action and community engagement remain powerful tools for change.

Together, we can build communities where both people and nature thrive. The time to act is now.

Beckma Empowerment Initiative -Bemi, thank you for always leading!!!!

As you can all recall, a few days ago we celebrated Abraham Sidibay for his participation in the Thinkers Youth Summit Model United Nations.

Today, we have even greater news, this is what proper representation looks like, and we are proud.

We are pleased to share that the Delegate of Sierra Leone has been awarded Best Delegate and Most Outstanding/Outspoken Delegate at the summit. This is not just a win, but a powerful statement of excellence, leadership, and impact on a global stage.

Abraham, you have gone beyond participation, you have distinguished yourself through confidence, intellect, and the courage to speak and lead where it matters most. You have truly represented Sierra Leone with honor and purpose.

We celebrate you wholeheartedly. Keep rising, keep leading, and keep showing the world the power of young voices in shaping the future.

A Journey of Growth and Resilience with SHE4Peace

“Since December, I have been part of a six-month skills training program at True Hope Foundation International, with graduation expected in June. Through this opportunity, I am gaining practical skills in hairdressing, wig making and installation, makeup artistry, and manicure and pedicure.”

Impact is the effect that whatever you embark on has on your life, whether positive or negative.

The goal at our SHE4Peace from start is simple but powerful a vision: to create a safe and secure environment for every young woman, youth and child. Every single day, we live intentionally to ensure that this vision does not fade. And the work we do, our mission, is how we bring that vision to life.

Today, we want you all to meet one of our own. A young, vibrant, and dedicated community volunteer, Zee Abby. She joined us with passion and commitment, and participated in one of our flagship programs, the International Peace Day Walk we host every September. Through this initiative, we collaborate with various youth-led organizations. This year, we partnered with True Hope Foundation International, an organization actively fighting against human trafficking.

Fast forward to December, when the CEO, reached out with an opportunity to train young people in skills development. Without hesitation, we submitted three names, Zellian Bondu Fears being one of them.

This is not just any training. It is a six-month intensive program designed to equip young women with practical skills for economic independence and stability, skills that can open doors to real opportunities and even their dream careers.

Today, just four months into the program, look at what Fears can do:
Hairdressing
Wig installation and Wig Revamping
Makeup
Pedicure and Manicure

And she’s still growing.

This is what partnership for the goals truly looks like. While it may be one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals on paper, at SHE4Peace, we are living it, creating real, measurable, and lasting impact.

To True Hope Foundation and its CEO, thank you for believing in young women and creating opportunities that transform lives.

We have two more months to go, and we cannot wait to see how far she rises.

As an organization, we are proud to see one of our volunteers showing up on a global platform and representing Sierra Leone with purpose.

We celebrate Abraham on this achievement and wish him all the best.

SHE4Peace at the 10th Sitting of Kids Parliament

Representing SHE4Peace, Executive Member, Miss Emma Kargbo, attended the 10th Sitting of the Kids Parliament Sierra Leone at the House of Parliament on April 24th, 2026, where a landmark bill titled “Save the Children” was introduced for deliberation.

Centered on amplifying children’s voices and strengthening their protection, the session brought young representatives together to debate, analyze, and contribute to a bill shaped by critical national reports highlighting the urgent need to safeguard children.

During the sitting, child parliamentarians took on dual roles, representing their constituencies while engaging from political perspectives, mirroring real democratic processes and deepening their understanding of advocacy, lawmaking, and decision-making.

The “Save the Children” Bill focuses on key areas including:Strengthening child protection systems, Expanding access to quality and inclusive education, Improving health and welfare services and Protecting children from harmful practices

Through this engagement, children boldly spoke for themselves, calling for safer environments, stronger policies, and a future where every child is protected, heard, and valued.

As an institution, we are proud to support platforms that elevate young voices and drive meaningful change for children across Sierra Leone.
