This blessed month of giving and compassion has been truly meaningful for us at Dalvina Children Foundation Sierra Leone.
Alhamdulillah, we successfully carried out our Ramadan Food Drive across three mosques in the Western Area, reaching many families and individuals in need. It was a moment of sharing love, kindness, and the true spirit of Ramadan 🤲🏽

We also extended our support to our beloved elderly women at Beach Road, Crab Town Community, providing them with food items and essential prayer materials to support their worship during this holy month. Seeing their smiles and prayers reminded us why we do what we do ❤️

This initiative is a reflection of our commitment to community service, compassion, and uplifting the vulnerable.

We say a big thank you to everyone who supported, contributed, and believed in this mission. May Allah reward you abundantly 🙏🏽✨

Look closely at their faces.

This isn't just a classroom; it's a room full of potential. When we talk about International Women's Day, we are talking about them. We are talking about making sure these girls never have to pause their dreams because of a lack of resources or information.

We focused on 'Empowerment & Menstrual Hygiene Awareness' because dignity should never be a luxury. Period poverty is a reality that affects a girl's education, health, and future potential. By providing health education and confidence, we are knocking down barriers.

ALHAMDULILLAH! WHAT A POWERFUL DAY OF IMPACT đź’ś

Yesterday was truly a special and fulfilling day for us at the Dalvina Children Foundation Sierra Leone. In just a few days of planning, we were able to bring together 25 amazing young girls to celebrate International Women’s Day under the theme “Give To Gain.”

The event was more than just a celebration. It was a moment of learning, empowerment, and connection. We created a safe space where young girls could come together, share, listen, and gain confidence about their future.

Through meaningful conversations and mentorship, we talked about self-confidence, menstrual hygiene, education, and the importance of believing in themselves as future leaders of our community and Sierra Leone.
Each girl also received dignity kits and gifts, reminding them that their health, confidence, and education matter.

Seeing the smiles, the laughter, the friendships forming, and the courage in these young girls reminded me why our work matters. Moments like these show that when we invest in girls, we invest in a stronger future for our entire community.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to everyone who supported this initiative the volunteers, friends, partners, and the management of Beach Cafe for providing the space for us to host this impactful program.

To the beautiful girls who attended: you are strong, you are capable, and your dreams are valid. Never stop believing in yourselves.
