Introduction
On July 11, 2025, a delegation from Propel Organization visited the Goodwill Children Foundation (GCF), a vital home committed to caring for abandoned and underprivileged children in Sierra Leone. This visit was strategically planned to assess the foundation's needs, provide essential support, and fortify the partnership between our two organizations.
About Goodwill Children Foundation (GCF)
Founded on December 12, 2021, by Mr. Foday K. Kamara (Director), GCFβs mission is to provide shelter, education, food, clothing, and medical care for abandoned and less privileged children. The current enrollment of GCF consists of 21 children, comprising 12 boys and 9 girls, all aged between 5 and 14 years. They have a dedicated team of key staff members, including Mr. Suleiman Conteh, a senior staff member, Mummy Hellen Kamara (Chief Cook), Kadday Marrah (Assistant Cook), and Margaret Sillah (Secretary General). Despite facing financial challenges, the foundation continues to carry out commendable words, teaching the children about faith and hope, and the team presented a donation from Propel Organization of NLE 1,500 to support the foundation. The children expressed gratitude through prayers for Belinda, Laird, and Propel.
Mr. Foday K. Kamara thanked Propel for its continued support. The children and staff showcased their appreciation through songs and prayers. The GCF team hopes for a long-term partnership with Propel to help sustain their mission.
Conclusion & Next Steps
