*LEWAF/WHI : Empowering Caregiver for self- Reliance .*

In a bid to promote women's Empowerment in sierra leone . Lady Ellen Women's Aid Foundation in Partnership with World Hope International has empowered 22 Caregivers on sustainability for Self reliance .

This pilot phase of the project was a test case on the efforts and resilience of the caregivers who have been with world hope international for quite some time but partially on Donor support for the children with disability .

However todays outcome ,Is a clear manifestation that the caregivers have build trust in the process and with more determination now they are more determine to increase there share value from Nle 5 to 10 Nle and improve on their savings power and more .

This is in line with Government agenda for sustainability of most women's program
While delivering the keynote address some times back .The vice president of sierra leone encourages all National and international organisations to identify suitability strategies as most donors are shifting to a different trajectory base on the worlds demand .

This is a perfect partnership between LEWAF and WHI in ensuring caregivers of children with disability continue to support their children and ensure the become better people in society as disability is not inability .

LEWAF and WHI Remain steadfast in ensure these caregivers are transform for total empowerment and sustainability towards national development

Building the Capacity of Our Team: A LEWAF Success Story

At LEWAF, we are committed to empowering our staff with the knowledge and skills they need to perform their duties effectively and diligently. We believe in creating opportunities for growth and professional development, ensuring that every team member is equipped to make a difference in their work.

As part of this commitment, LEWAF recently funded training for two of our dedicated staff members, Mrs. Louise Fatmata Jalloh and Mr. Lamin A. Kamara, in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). This training was organized by the Sierra Leone Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (SLANGO).

We are proud to announce that both staff members are now trained and certified in M&E, a critical skill that will enhance the quality and impact of our work.

This achievement reflects LEWAF’s dedication to building the capacity of our team and ensuring that we continue to deliver on our mission to tackle violence against women and girls while creating positive change in our communities.

Together, we grow stronger!
