*Sunkray Foundation Sierra Leone Distributes School Learning Materials in Tonkolili and Koinadugu Districts*
On the 27th and 28th of September 2025, Sunkray Foundation Sierra Leone successfully distributed essential school learning materials to four communities across Tonkolili and Koinadugu Districts. The targeted beneficiary communities included *Mabum in Tonkolili District, Kaponpon, Kamadaindainna, and Kabendugu in Koinadugu District.*
The items distributed included school bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners. These materials aim to support pupils as they begin the new academic year, especially in remote communities where access to educational resources is limited.
The distribution ceremonies were well attended by community stakeholders, local leaders, and parents who expressed deep gratitude to the foundation.
They offered prayers and extended thanks, encouraging the Foundation to continue its impactful work and receive more support to reach additional communities in the future.
During the event, the National Coordinator of Sunkray Foundation Sierra Leone, Madam Isatu Sunkarie Mansaray, gave a heartfelt speech thanking God for His continued guidance and provision. She also acknowledged the growth and progress of the Foundation over the years.
Madam Mansaray further extended her appreciation to the key sponsors of this year’s outreach ,Leone Rock Metal Group Sierra Leone and SeaCoach Express, for their generous support and unwavering commitment to the success of the 2025" Back to School Back to Hope" donation project.
The Sunkray Foundation Sierra Leone continues to be a beacon of hope for many underserved communities, promoting access to education through strategic partnerships and grassroots engagement.
